You are welcome. It's a lot of phone for the money, not forgetting the 24 months warranty by Virgin. I was impressed as well

My local store agreed to price-match the online offer of £49.99 for the handset but they insisted on a £10 recharge voucher on top. Since I already had a Virgin sim only account, I credited the £10 into that account (by texting the voucher code) and it cleared my August bill of £8 leaving a credit of £2 on the account. So, no loss on that front.

Take a print-out of the offer or just show them the online price on your mobile and they should hopefully match it.

Brill little phone. Bought one last month on Amazon for £85 (wish I'd held out, being on a Virgin Sim only plan the included insurance would have given me some piece of mind) and it is an amazing little phone. Never slows down, works brilliantly and gets a good days battery life with med/heavy use. Needs an Micro SD card due to the 4gb internal, but at £50 that's easily the best phone you're going to get for that price. Heat given!

just ordered sim card.....have to wait until it arrives? or is there another way?

Good phone this , got one for the wife . I was surprised how slick it is through the screens etc.

If you have a Virgin store nearby, you could try getting a free PAYG sim through them. Alternatively, they are available in most supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Argos, etc.) for a pound.

Which is better, the motoE or the motoG?

That's extortionate! If you've ordered the sim card already through Virgin online, use the same login details (email address, password) that you used during the order process to login to your Virgin mobile account first at:

store.virginmedia.com/vir…tml

Then, click on the link below to purchase the handset:

store.virginmedia.com/vir…s=1

No need to wait for the sim to arrive.

I've just checked this and you are right - no need to even wait for the sim to arrive as a Virgin Mobile account is created during the sim order process itself. Thanks!

Quick question: Moto E or Nokia Lumia 530 for £39.99?

in my opinion both are equal. it depends which OS you like. and to get Lumia 530 you need to be eligible for pay upgrade.

Potentially wrong on 2 counts. The moto g does have a micro sd card slot if you opt for the more expensive 4g version. And the moto g I had recently was running 4.4.4.

The original moto G's came with 4.3 but get kitkat through an OTA update.

Just tried this with a new account setup in my partner's name and was able to sign in straightaway after ordering the sim. Are you getting any error messages (incorrect password, etc.) while signing in?

What kind of 3d games can it play?. Is playing games that bad on it?.

How can I buy the phone even though you are not a virgin customer?

I wouldn't buy a budget (Android) phone to play 3D games on.

I want one..sadly I have the Moto G.

looks like the website is down, anyone else having problems with it?

In other words, this can be used with EE or Orange or T-Mobile
