Cheapest I can find it at the moment for 16GB version, plus from reputable seller. Also cheapest on Amazon according to triple camel Couldn't resist and cannot wait to get my hands on it. Hope this helps some fellow HUKDers.

No 10% vouchers at the moment, you have to spend £150 now to get £20 off.

I was shopping a few weeks ago and spent about £22 on groceries and then off came a £6 receipt dicount which I then used to buy a Moto G

As per the other post/thread for Moto G on Amazon - Amazon should be way cheaper than store purchased goods (£139 @ Tesco and only £1-2 to get unlocked)

Cold for me for the price but hot for the phone I can't fault it (except no 4g and no removal battery or slot for extra sd card) - see the last issue of Webuser (gold award)

You get £10 off on £70 spend on tesco direct

Seriously confused but can't get tesco price quoted above and they cancelled other orders. Due to error pricing

Glad I got 2 of these from virgin couple weeks ago for 99 each. Dam fine phone users will not be disappointed! Heat for cheapest at the moment tho I feel these will drop soon....

Great phone, highly recommend it

Sim upgrade price starts from £129 at phones 4u

Great phone but I'm not seeing the deal.

Errr pretty sure, you just described exactly what a deal is!!??

No sd card ? Then it's not worth having.
What is it with phone companies binning SD card slots ? It has stymied Nokia Lumias growth and the idiot whos idea it was (no doubt linked to iPhone not having one) should have been sacked. Its why I won't buy another Windows Phone without an sd card - I believe future Lumias WILL starting with the 930)

Love my Moto G, moved to it from years of having iphones for a change, i love it

upgraded a few family members and freinds from sammy s4s and iphone 5 they much prefer these

Kinda, Moto X - costs considerably more though.

Fighting a losing battle here dude

I've had mine since launch day, it's been a fantastic phone with great battery life. Had a charging issue twice where the only course of action was to disconnect the battery. Fortunately, this isnt a big deal and easy to do as long as you have a torx driver.

No, it's just a damning indictment of the state of society. Say for example Motorola decided to charge retailers £500 a phone for the Moto G and (assuming you could find anywhere to buy it) it would cost you £600. By your definition it would still be a good deal. Now do you see the flaw?

Sweeping statement much?

Seeing how successful the iPhone is, you've just contradicted yourself.

Google doesn't want removable storage cos they want you to use their cloud, and Google owns Motorola, so the newer Motorola models don't have it. It's definitely an issue for a few people, but for most it's either a minor annoyance or of no consequence at all - especially as this model contains 16GB. And then there are a few obsessives who think they need to carry tens of gigabytes of "stuff" around with them which they would never access in practice anyway.

They usually complain about non-removable batteries too - you've missed a trick there.

I do wonder what are you doing here at all if you want a Windows Phone.

Your arguement is a bit like the "if you wait a few weeks it will be cheaper" or the "it was cheaper last Christmas" There are many things more damning about society than voting a deal hot because it's the cheapest that can be had at the moment, deals are always subjective but as has been mentioned the fact that this has gone 200+ proves you are in a minority on this occasion.

It's worth mentioning the camera on the Moto G is pretty poor. But that does not mean it isn't a superb phone in other respects.

A good reason (in my opinion) why people do not offer SD card slots are the such varied quality/speed of fake SD cards. If performance of the phone is degraded due to somebody skimping on a cheap, Chinese SD card then they'll most probably blame the phone (unless like me, you'd invest in a decent, branded SD card).

So as much as it seems like an omission, it's not just due to greed of manufacturers.

So you're saying it's successful BECAUSE it has no SD card slot ? Seriously ?
Or is it because they got the drop on every other phone for style and desireability ?
Android began catching up when they INTRODUCED an sd card slot.
Now theres more android sold than iPhones.
An Android WITHOUT an sd slot is rare indeed.

The camera is actually OK imo, it's not as good as a midrange compact, but in good conditions it does a pretty good job, quite possible to capture a blue sky, which a poor camera wouldn't be able to.

I think for the money the camera is better than I'd expect.

It isn't at all.

If you want SD functionality, dont buy this phone, if you are happy with 16GB then carry on. Do you really need to go on about it?

If you want to carry some movies or something then using usb OTG is an option.

All this nonesense about SD Card storage! With the advent of the likes of google music, cloud storage for photo's et al, who needs microsd card storage? Uploaded all of my tunes to google music, link my phone to my BT Cloud account(50gb of storage) for the camera roll, purchased the SIM only One Plan on three for unlimited data and away you go! For all the Three naysayers there are other unlimited data options out there, three just suits my needs with travelling and the coverage in the Greater Belfast area. For those on limited data plans, turn off automatic backups of camera roll over data so when you get home and connect to wifi all your photos upload to the cloud, synced to PC's/Mac/Laptops(whatever) can be viewable on most if not all tablets using relevant cloud storage apps! I have all the apps I ever wanted on my LG G2 with still just under 6gb of storage remaining! No need for extra storage!

The question "Seriously?" should be directed at yourself for making such a bizarre accusation!

Ah that makes more sense - it seems you're back in the room.

There are many reasons why Android "began catching up" - removable storage was undoubtedly a factor, but you're inflating its long-term importance out of all proportion.

That's simply not the case any more. Check the market. Samsung sticks with it - bless their hearts. But precious few others. External storage was great once, but with the sensible amounts of internal storage and the better connectivity modern phones and networks provide, it's an ever-diminishing requirement. You seem to be living in the past both in overestimating its importance and in thinking that Android phones without removable storage are "rare". I understand how you feel about it because I used to feel the same, but now I think the time has come to let it go.

I read that the Moto G has been experiencing issues after the KitKat 4.4.2 upgrade. Has this been experienced amongst HUKD readers (those who have the phone and have done the upgrade)? If not, is it working better with 4.4.2 rather than 4.3?

I'd wait for the moto E, its due out next month

Still using mine, i decided to buy it after giving away my note 2 and i'm amazed at the quality and battery life of this phone. Don't see myself upgrading to a flagship device for quite some time!
