Better off spending £100 on a Smart Ultra 6 though

Cheaper at Tesco Direct - sim free for £149 also included in Boost offer ( for £74.50 in Boost points if you have so many:))

it was 100 pounds on Vodafone...couple of week ago if I'm correct ?

This is 16GB with 2GB ram version, the one in Vodafone and tesco are the 8GB with 1GB Ram versions. So this one is a little speedier when multitasking!

I would guess it was the 8gb version

Doogee X5 Pro. CIRCA £60 a better option? Search on here been posted a few times, amazing for the money.

The 2nd gen 1GB Ram 8GB Memory LTE version is on offer at £70 in-store at Tesco.

Far better value!

been this price for ages now. cold!

Just got the 1GB Ram 8GB memory one from Tesco for £19 using clubcard vouchers on Tesco Mobile and unlocked in a few hours from a seller on Ebay for £1.35.
Big improvement over the original Moto G I had for 2 years which previously cost £9 using clubcard vouchers. Both cameras on the front and back are much better.
I wouldn't have been happy spending £140 on one though but seeing as my clubcard vouchers weren't being used it was worth a pop.
Perhaps think the Vodafone Ultra 6 does seem to be the new original Moto G at this price range. Moto G already has Android 5.1.1 installed though and when I used a Moto G 2nd gen with just 5.02 installed I found it very laggy which I think the Ultra 6 is still running with no update as of yet.
2gb of RAM and 16GB memory that this provides would have been a bonus, but at least the 3rd gen has a memory card slot which the 1st gen 3G never had, just think that this should be £140 and not the 1GB RAM version instead.

Yes it is, but you would have better luck getting hold of Weapons Grade Plutonium than finding a Tescos Store which actually has stock of the Moto G 2 for £70. I've tried all the big stotes in the Dudley/Birmingham area & all of them are OOS.

I agree, so very true. If ever the wild
geese joke is an apt comment it is at
Tesco.

wow not a lot of love! Good deal to me...lack of bloatware adds a lot to the performance imo

Oh for the love of god...... These Vodafone smart ultra 6 fan boys are doing my head in. OK it's cheaper! Trust me "WE ALL KNOW THIS". Maybe, just maybe we don't want a ZTE made handset. Perhaps we want a offical Google device but can't afford the 5x or 6p. A Motorola is the next best thing. Previously owned by Google, proven quality track record, fast at getting updates out. Every phone post I see some fanboy who probably doesn't even own a smart ultra 6 pop on and tell us how fantastic it is and how every other device simply isn't worth the extra. Well I have a smart ultra 6. Its OK. Not fantastic, not poor, just ok. I also have a wileyfox swift. In my opinion I prefer the swift. It feels nicer, the Cyanogen OS is better and it looks better. It's not all about the specs.

Whats with all the cold voting on this... if someone can find this phone cheaper then please let me know or I will order this.

I actually ended up buying the Moto X Play as it dropped to £200 on Amazon (now £240. Also in John Lewis, although out of stock):
5.5" screen, 16gb hd, 2gb ram, water resistant, nfc and a 21mp camera.
