Was going to purchase the Moto G 3rd gen 8gb last night untill i decided to wait for the 16gb to come back in stock (luckily amazon cancelled the order while it was being prepared for dispatch.. Anyways purchased to replace a familys old moto g 2nd gen which decided to start playing up (returned and refund).

I know some will say there are other phones which are cheaper of similar spec if not better, but still the cheapest compared to other places including motorola own website through the moto maker.

Was previously listed 2 weeks and 5 days ago but went out of stock and only just returned this afternoon.

Hope this helps someone out who are still after this phone

By the way becuase its sold and dispatched via amazon if anything does go wrong with the phone while under warranty just ring them/online chat and they will issue a replacement or refund, only a handful of places left with decent customer service (amazon, john lewis, argos, asda)

Brilliant phone. I have this 2GB model and it's really fast. Very nice stock Android experience too. Added Nova Launcher to it, perfect match!
I have this phone too. Love it. The camera is the best I've ever had.
Great phone for the money! Although might be worth holding out until black Friday deals.
no compass on the 3rd gen I beleive, does that make the GPS much less accurate and any other issues it might cause?

This is finally coming down in price - the launch price was absolutely ridiculous. 2 years after the launch of the Moto G you would expected 2GB of RAM to be standard. How Motorola can charge 50 pounds more for it is beyond me. And just as a warning: Motorola has not promised to upgrade it to Android 6.0. It will probably happen, but who knows.
