Well, there it is: I'm the last member to post a Moto G deal.

This version seems to be dropping in price faster than petrol.

£119.95 right now, which I think is £10 less than the previous best price, correct me if I'm wrong.

Use code PRICELES5 to get £5 off if paying with a Mastercard.

I thought this now had the Lollipop update available though...why both with kitkat?

there is nothing wrong with the signal on this phone at all... the phone has a horrid memory leak issue though and until we get the ota update to lollypop there is nowt we can do about it..

bloody good price for this phone though despite the current members issue. Have to vote hot

Don't you just love deflation!

I purchased this from Amazon on 5.12.14 for £139.95 but it was only delivered to me on 16.12.14, does anyone know if I'll have any chance getting the £20(ish) back off Amazon?

You should almost certainly get the money back. Just contact Amazon, they are usually very good with this sort of thing.

This is a deal site..not a phone review site...

Voted hot. Haven't got a Moto g, no intention of buying one but heated as I know this is a good price.

Great price,

heat!!
awesome price for a solid phone.
im sure theyll sort out the software issues.

i wonder when the 4g versions are going to drop in price?

Is there a single-SIM model of this phone (2nd gen)?

I hate dual-SIM!

good things come to those who wait.

Decent chance of getting this for under £110 if you whack a Flubit request in now.

oO

You do realise you don't have to use two SIMS in it. Just use one SIM slot and it works just like any other phone...

I had only one sim in it for a while and it behaved like a single sim phone. It's only when you stick a second sim in that it behaves like a dual sim. But even then...you just select it to remember choices when you ring people for the first time and it doesn't ask again. It's really not intrusive at all. In fact I forget I have two sims in there most of the time.

Plus having that second sim slot will save you money when you go on holiday etc.

Is this the same version as Argo's offer for £129 with £10 voucher?

Worth knowing that if you contact Motorola, they will send you a wall plug free of charge, if you give them the IMEI of your phone. The plug has 2 usb sockets, so you can charge 2 devices from the 1 plug point. It arrived the day after ordering and is white in colour.

The 4g version has a smaller screen, and I think it has only a single sim. No idea if and when they'll be dropping the price though.

Contacted them yesterday and they refunded from the £139 I paid over a week ago, I've emailed them again to see if they will further refund now it has been reduced again - fingers crossed!

Hot deal! Not sure if my club finger might have voted cold by accident though! Wish they would let you change your vote within a minute or 2 timeframe!

MrEverready

Yes

I think I might have to go for this given the lack of a G2 Mr Everready. If, in the unlikely event the G2 turns up, it'll be easy enough to send this back to Amazon or sell the G2. Don't want to miss out because of Vodafone's incompetence!

I have the first gen and have been v happy with that, just picked up this one via Tesco direct for hubbys xmas. Wonder if he will notice if I swap it out lol ? For anyone who isnt bothered about 4g this is a belting handset for this price. I cant justify upgrading mine but. Tempting.

Nice find

I assume this is the 4G version but 1st generation? tesco.com/dir…132 Am I right in saying that they haven't released a 2nd gen 4G version?

I so wanted this phone until I read about the memory leak issue (doesn't exist on Moto G 1st Gen)...reading XDA the verdict is out if lollipop helps or not but it doesn't seem to be totally fixed yet.

Aye, I was thinking the same thing. If someone told you about the G2 fiasco you'd not believe them !

No, it covers gen 1 as well. My partner used the IMEI from my Moto G first gen to get the plug.

Just got the £10 difference refunded from my order yesterday. V happy! Price match policy within 10 days...

You're now connected to Kirsten from Amazon.co.uk

Me:Hi, I ordered the Moto G 5" yesterday @ £124.95 (with £5 off voucher code). I have not taken delivery yet but have just noticed that the price has dropped a further £10. Is there any chance that my order be amended by the £10 reduction please?

Kirsten:Hello Andrew. I will have a look at your order now to see what I can do

Me:Thank you Kirsten

Kirsten:Yes that should be possible. I will need to request a refund for the difference. Our policy states that we can match price changes within a 10 day period

Me:That's great!

Kirsten:The request will be sent to a supervisor and you will be refunded £10 for the price difference. Refunds usually take 2-3 business days plus your banks processing time to show in your account. Can I help with anything else?

Amazon are great!!!
