Just a heads up. with 16gig rom you will run into storage problems at some point. I couldn't get my apps on this phone
A lot cheaper than the refurbished gold one for some reason. Hot.
Hot price for full HD. Shame about the CPU
Will these come unmarked?
PLAYFUL code expired.

never purchased a phone from argos/ebay but their laptops are always in perfect condition like new.
Look at the link web address: eBay.com.au. What’s going on with the redirect to the Aussie site? Something fishy here!
PULL5 Code still working for 5% discount

It's under £70 and it's a proper top-tier brand (vs. Chinese no-name), I don't know what people were expecting? At this price, it would be this or a Mediatek SoC and I reckon there would be more complaints about that.
That's a lot of phone for not a lot of money, PLUS a 12 month warranty. The big bonus is that it has a removable battery which means that even if this has been worked hard before it was refurbed and the battery isn't as it was, a few quid and you've a spare one right there!
Battery:

  • 367 hours standby time.
  • 22 minutes talk time.
  • 2800mAh battery capacity.

great talk time

It imitates Mediatek being old 28nm. And that is why it has to run at a low clock rate.

Yes, but as I said, it's a Snapdragon and it's under £70 - so it's about 'managing expectations'.
Low in that aspect.

Talk is so 2000s...
Great bang for buck.. Similar price for a new one from GiffGaff if you trust Topcashback to give you the £30. Just sayin'

Yes, to match the super low price...
Any similar deals for the dual sim version?
What I first said. For many Full HD is far more useful than 'super fast'.
super deal. This model has been replaced by the moto G6 .............but its nearly double that money

I paid £149 for this just to use it as android auto. Decent phone but trying to get cover off to change sim and battery is a pain in the arse.
Does anyone know, if when you put a memory card in, it treats it as one block of memory. No faffing about moving files individually to the SD card. That always seems to get moved Back to its internal memory, after the app is updated (on my s4 at least). Ty

Yes, if you set it up as so.

I have one and it's a nice phone, gyroscope too so you can play with it in a Google cardboard for a few mins. Then think why ;-)

Nice phone overall.

Web, pics, games, remote access, maps, etc does it all and nicely.
Can't see a reason , for general usage, to spend more.

Thank you. Want to replace my 5s with an android, think this will be the one. If I can nab one.

Oh well, better luck next time.
Didn't realise Motorola are now owned by Lenovo instead of Google.
I just picked up the G6 play... I think it works out at about 120 quid excluding the contract... Is that any good for someone that wants fairly basic use and a problem free new phone?
Loved Moto for years by using g1 to g4. But I'm fed up now as the ghost touch is so annoying. It damages the phone's usability completely and nowhere to fix it. So missed g5 and g6 and promised to myself not to go back to Moto anymore.

Maybe they fix it in the newer version?
ghost touch was on moto g4, not g5 and g6

Obviously, depends how much you want to store. For additional storage, that's what memory cards are for.

Sd cards are not a complete solution, many apps will not work properly or update on the SD card. Larger internal storage is best

I own this phone.

I have a memory card in it. It's set up as internal storage. No issues with any apps. Nothing has to be transferred manually to memory card as it's recognised as internal storage.

It's called Adoptable storage when you use a sd card as internal memory although only a few phone support this option. Not a great solution as sd cards can be unreliable. Still it's a cheap solution.

I brought one of these for 50 on ebay a few weeks back and it's a great phone.

The seller had a few but I don't post deals on hear due to rude comments.
