Nice find @matt020295 - heat added
With the imminent release of the Moto G6 i presume the G5`s will be dropping in price.
Ok I've had apple and Samsung and wanted a phone for £100 mark

Was goin for s6 or I phone 6

How would this compare as if heard great things about these phones
Wife has one it's a great phone, good screen, nice camera, great value, good find.
Moto are rubbish since Lenovo bought them - no updates, just lies. Not even security updates.

Very true, went almost a year without a security update, only just got it a few weeks back. Supposed to be getting the latest Android build, but I'm not holding my breath. I've got the dual SIM/3GB model, and for the dual SIM with micro SD, it's great, but as a phone it's average.
Any ideas when Motorola will be selling mobiles directly from their website again?
Slightly off topic but has anyone already with this phone managed to get a Fitbit to work properly with it?

Wife's Charge HR worked fine with all her older Moto Es but has real trouble syncing with this and never managed to get call notifications working on it.

Now that her Fitbit case has broken I'm thinking of replacing with the Fitbit Alta HR but seeing lots of posts online that it has the same issues with the G5 and Fitbit don't properly support this phone.

I'd advise you to go to China. Redmi 5, 5 Plus or Note 5 - depending on your Budget
A standard brick is precision crafted.
I'd be genuinely tempted by this if it wasn't for the 16gb.

I'm on that now and getting constant warnings that I'm reaching the limit, so much so I've been deleting apps regularly.
Don't they take a MicroSD card?

Same price at Argos. Tempted as a second phone. Just about to become 2 generations old though if you count the G5S...

Yes, they do.
Got one (from Argos), can confirm.

The update situation is appalling (surprise surprise, the usual problem with Android unless you get Google's own handsets) but it's an otherwise impressive little device for the money. Definitely makes you question whether it's really worth spending 4-10x as much on flagships. Plus with being cheap you don't worry yourself silly about breaking or scratching it etc.
