Incredible deal, bought mine for £164.99 as still over the moon - have some HEAT!

Drat. Only bought mine for the higher price last week. My own fault, I should have waited for Prime Day. Hot price OP

I was actually in tesco about an hour ago looking at this and the E4+ and decided to hold off in case this came on offer with it being an Amazon exclusive one!

My phones broken, so need a new one pronto. This or our friend the Wiley Fox for that bit more?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions :-)

Thoughts so far: This is cheaper, but no compass. Fox has compass, but poor support and possible issue with screen cracking easily. Argh, things are never easy!

Posted this myself but clearly a few seconds too late. heat will go through the roof. I'm buying

i have read on a few occasions that wiley support is non existant.

Incidentally do Amazon still price match if their own prices drop, refunding the difference?

Just posted this as well, was going to buy for £165 last week but at this price you have to buy.

Bought the 2 gb ram at 119 from o2 few days back, should I return and buy this?
I unlocked it tho , would they take it back under 14 days return policy??

I'm torn between this and the G5 Plus at Carphone Warehouse for £200. Does anybody have any experience with the Plus version?

Cheers

Got it last week for £165 which is annoying!\x0d\x0a

Damm don't have prime. Had trials in the past on a number of occasions!

Moto Phones are very basic no thrills phones but are very good value for money. Wileyfox phones have (imo) an all round nicer design I regards to software and hardware.

You couldn't go wrong with either phone, although since Wileyfox are an online company if something does go wrong you may need to wait a while (they also offer screen replacement for £15).

I have the 2 X no issues with screen, they do come with a screen protector applied which doesn't need to be removed.

Haven't had a Moto since 3rd gen, great phones just very vanilla for my liking.

Yep

Shame it's only 1 per customer as my wife & I need to replace our trusty but tired original Moto G handsets. It's obvious why they impose the limit though.

Can you store apps on the SD card? if not, 16gb is not enough.

I have the plus, very impressed moving from an iPhone 6. First venture to android and so far I'll be hanging around

Thanks OP. I need a new phone and this will do the job for the price. The only downside I could see in the reviews is that the audio quality when recording video is poor and the autofocus isn't the fastest, even the moto g4 is faster. But you cant have it all for this kind of money!

What makes it an exclusive? Ram and dual sim?

Just a thought - but you could buy one and your wife could buy one - problem solved

Would this work...? I'm assuming one of you have Prime.

Really hope the next Moto G has NFC. That'll be a good time to upgrade from my Nexus 5X

Can anyone confirm who owns this phone if this comes with a 5.5 inch or 5 inch screen? Amazons description says it has 5.5 inch screen which i think is a typo.

how is this compared to wileyfox swift 2 + which comes with 32gb storage at similar price?

5.0

Much better value than any iPhone.

Any ideas of whether it's good bump up from my HTC One M8?
I suspect it's not a lot faster.

Shame it's only 16 storage, I have the Moto G4 2016 and it starts to struggle with apps, most apps don't run properly on sd card.
I will pay more for bigger internal storage

****! Didn't think of that. Yes, I have a Prime account and my wife already has another (non Prime) account. Too late now - we signed her up for the Prime monthly payment option and ordered one. The other thing I didn't consider until too late was that this phone is also in Warehouse deals at £166.31 but discounted by 20% making it £133.05.
It's described as used but like new in original packaging - it's possibly brand new but the packaging's damaged so can't be sold as new. I bet I could have ordered both from my Prime account which would have saved us the extra £7.99.

I'd like to upgrade from my G3 and although this has 1gb extra ram and a slightly better processor no compass is putting me off

probably not much in it, but it doesn't have NFC if thats a deal breaker (and the reason I was considering the E4+)

Good price but not much of an improvement over my MotoG4

Yeah, not too bothered about NFC but I much prefer the look of the M8 and from what I can tell, it's not enough of a boost for me to consider it.

HNG. Tempting as a gaming thing (I have an iPhone but you can't use emulators on it without jumping through weekly hoops) but think I'll save a further £134 by not buying it. Any old thing ought to emulate a SNES. And I don't want to get all indecisive about phones again after finally going back to iPhones.\x0d\x0a\x0d\x0aStill - cracking deal that! Lowest I've seen that phone. Megaheat.

Similar specs to SU6.. worth an upgrade lol?

An Ugly phone, I have the Moto G 1st Gen, and would like to upgrade but all Motorolas after mine are bloody ugly:(

pictures and videos online show a hideously ugly phone? What was Motorola thinking?
