Nope, smaller model

hot for this price

Excellent phone even at full list price - even better at this price. I bought mine in preference to a Nexus 6 - in almost every respect this is a simply an N6 in 5" form - summary comparison here: androidauthority.com/dro…41/

Still torn between this and the LG G3 (which my wife has), but both are great phones, especially at these price points.

Brilliant phone.Cheers Chanchi

Mobile deal of the day.

What is the battery life like on one of these? I have the dual sim Motorola G, the display is this size I think but the battery life is only about 24 hours

The battery life is not great on the Moto X 2nd Gen, it's one of the worst aspects of the phone along with the dodgy camera. It has a very small battery (2300mah) for its size, resolution, and chipset. The battery is actually smaller in capacity than the one found on the Moto G 2nd Gen 4G (2390mah).

I have owned this phone and am super tempted to own it again but the battery life. Oh the battery life. What were they thinking. You cannot power a processor and screen of this size with this battery. Such a shame. Ps. Anyone who says it's good is lying or not using the phone at all. .

If it is that small, yes I agree, it's really not useable, it takes me back to the early days of mobiles when you out and were forever wondering if the battery was going to last out the day. My motorola dual sim is like that

What early days are you talking about, my memory of early days is that the battery never used to die.

no, in the early day of mobiles we had Nokia 5100s and worried if the battery would last out the week!

Mobile deal of today as well.

I had some Orange network phone with lousy reception in London (where it didn't usually last the day), and I had to go out into the middle of a field at home to reliably make and receive calls!

Great phone and great price! Voted hot

Good price. Heat added. This phone was on offer recently (£229) directly from Motorola UK, where you could choose colours and memory. Unfortunately, that offer has gone. I was choosing a phone that time between this one and LG G3. Went for G3 as screen is a bit bigger there (for the same price).

the 16gb was for 229 not 32gb. I would have bought this if I hadn't bought the g4 last week

Tempted since my z1c acts like a dog with stock lollipop now, 2gb ram though.. Think I'll hold out for the 4gb phones later this year. Heat all the same

Can i phone a friend Great price, heat added

Up until the 6th of July you could have bought a bespoke one for £229 direct from Motorola .

I was reading an android forum a few weeks ago and one of the posters had his signature as 'Sent from my Motorola X which is charging as I type' in every post of his.

I need to say this. The original Moto X is possibly one of my favorite phones of all time. As a user experience I have never had better. I include iphones in this. The size, the build (dont care it's plastic it felt lovely in the hand) the handsfree ui, all of it was amazing, but the battery on that, and on the new versions are shocking. what's worse is that i owned an original moto g and the battery life on that was really really good

Redonkulous

Tried factory reset? It's a pain but helped my friends z1c after lollipop update

its a shame reading the comments about battery life, otherwise I may have jumped at this.

I wish phone manufacturers would wake up to the fact that #1 priority should be battery performance. forget all the other gimmicks. Im still using my lg g2 and will continue to use it simply because the battery is a beast

i have the dualsim, love it apart from the battery life..but have to remember it is powering 2 sims and thus the power required to "catch" both signals.I carry a portable power pack just in case.

This i a v nice deal but i'll stick with this dual sim moto g.

A factory reset sorted my z1 compact .

Found the phone for 299 euros but when I go through the basket the price changes to 301.51 euros + postage?

According to live chat with Motorola UK just now, no global warranty so it would be back to Amazon Germany for repair...:|
