not great. But pretty good with the right lighting
Top end camera, just not as good as the Edge or the 10.

this or a note 4?

Can't say anything about this phone, but my note 4 has been the best phone I've had to date. Can't really fault it and the removable battery and SD card slot is a plus.
Nice price, luckily they don't offer this in dual SIM or I'd probably sell my MotoX Play dual SIM and get this instead.
Is it worth upgrading my Z3 compact for this? Pros and cons please fellow HKUD'ers!
Internal storage is noticeably slower than it was on my S4, however everything else is the best I have had. Dream to use for the most part.

Have had both. The note 4 has a much better screen and way better battery life. Camera I would say is about equal. The style has pure android and great sounding stereo speakers.

who repairs phones these days? they are disposable! it's costly and unless you get a business to repair it, fraught! don't buy what you can't afford to chuck, unless you are insured.

I wouldn't trust them with regards to how good a camera is. They rated the Z5 the best camera when it came out, but it's far from that ! The camera on the Motorola, from camera samples I've seen, appears to be better than average in good lighting, and average for a high megapixel sensor in low light.

I would say definitely not. The battery life on this phone isn't very good, especially compared to your Z3 compact, which has one of the best endurance ratings of any smartphone

2 year warranty from John Lewis so they will sort any problems like that.
I was looking to get this phone but went with the LG G4 in the end wonder if I did the right thing?
pretty happy with the G4 and the camera is meant to be better?
the IR blaster in the G4 is also pretty handy many phones don't have this.
Have this phone and it's great . pure Android and premium feel. Love the wiggle of the wrist to activate the camera and the karate chop for the light. I find the camera actually to be very good. Its fast it's big and it comes with a 25w charger that charges super quick. Battery life is OK. But not terrible but I'd say manageable. The front facing speakers are very good. I'm very happy with it although finding a case was a bit of a chore(no official one from moto) . Ended up with the i-blason case. Not gonna say what i got it for from the eBay 20% deal the other month but i would have happily paid this. Especially given that you get the 2 years with JL

dxomark simply measures the quality of the lens and sensor. Not the post processing results

You can get it exchanged from most places. Apple is massively overpriced. Buy a phone from apple and you have like 2 years to return it
