Nice one Devinn
Just a word of caution, I have the UK version of this 📱 it was great however the Android 10 update won't work with my iD mobile sim I can't make calls, text or access mobile data.

The phone is stuck in emergency calls only mode and having googled the issue it seems the Pixel phones had the same issue, so the problem was known issue for android 10.

Only £145 delivered with Starling Bank conversion. Thanks for the alert OP! Wanted an Android One phone.
Anyone know if this phone comes with a UK 3 pin plug and if it comes with any UK warranty please? Thank you
It's possible that the power supply may have interchangeable pins for continental v/& UK 3-pin sockets, but I'd think unlikely, just depends if the standard unit is EU wide or just continent wide. It'll be a USB based supply anyway so easily substitutable.

As regards Warranty it's a Motorola 24 month warranty - courtesy of our EU membership - but whether you will need to chase Motorola Germany and/or UK I haven't clarified, see:

You have of course buyer rights against the vendor Amazon.de, which until tomorrow you have absolute rights to pursue, and then probably have a transitory 11 months to pursue, but then I imagine becomes far more fraught.

Mine's due Monday.

So torn, its either this or the Redmi 8T, this does not have B40 so not sure will work on 3 network.
But the camera on this seems better IMO, can @MrSwitch or any other experts confirm?

This will work on all UK networks, the 8t camera is improving with updates, but still a good camera, I'd say they are on par camera wise, this one may be slightly better.

Anyone know if this phone comes with a UK 3 pin plug ...

Just checked the Amazon.de listing where €165 is listed as model "PAFY0003DE" whereas a grey £195 amazon.co.uk model is "PAFY0012GB" I think we can expect it to have the standard continental 2 pin " Charger type USB-C 10W rapid charger" to feed the "Fast-charging, all-day battery.Go a full day on a single charge and with rapid charge get hours of power with just minutes
of charging."
Reviews suggest up to 2.5hrs to recharge using 5V 2A (10W) charger.
Thank you

Thank you

Just to confirm power adapter with it from DE (got delivered Sunday, ie same performance standard as more expensive priority) = a continental 2-pin style 5V 2A PSU.
Thanks for confirming I’ve bought something else now as I worry about buying from abroad just in case something doesn’t work in the long run. But as always thank you all for your help your all amazing!!

Spartan. How did you get the update to 10 ?
I haven't yet put SIMs in mine, but just connecting to Internet it has done Sep.. Oct... Nov and Dec updates but still on Android 9 and no sign of Android 10 yet (in SIMless state anyway). [My thinking was I'd start using it with Android 10 from the outset as a learning curve coming from 8]

I just used the OTA update function and it was there ready to Download and install I'm on the retgb (retail GB) channel and it became available on the 24th January. I've not heard any news to say they've delayed the roll out due to issues.

Thanks for the rapid response.
I put a Three SIM in but still no update to 10.
The software channel shows as "reteu"
ie presumably retail eu.
Googling a bit revealed other reteu waiting and allegedly due worldwide by 8 Feb so fingers crossed.

Another two weeks on and still no sign of ANY Android updates, ie mid Feb been and gone and still only 1 Dec 19 security, and still no sign of elusive "reteu" Android 10 update
Just an update re getting Android 10 update on this in the UK ie the "reteu" software channel...

It did NOT offer the update when there was NO SIM in the phone

It did NOT offer the update when there was a 3 / Three network SIM in the phone

As soon I realised WHICH SIM/network could be an issue - immediately on starting with an o2 SIM (PAYG) in the phone it offered the update and then a couple of days later also the update to Feb Security.

So once I got Android 10 I started to use the phone and migrated my 70+ Apps to it the following day and nearly a week later I am really impressed with it as hardware and Android 10 - so many thanks OP.

(Just a shame that Motorola's software updates are so restrictive/silly. Not sure how many days earlier I could have got Android 10 if I'd realised fussiness re which network!)
