Decent price. This phone came out about a year ago. Should have two years of support left.

"The phone initially launched on Android O, and will receive OS upgrades to P and Q; security updates will be provided for three years from the initial global launch date of September, 2018"
Does this have the same action hacks as the Moto G series? Chop chop for the light etc? Turn face down to silence?
Good price OP, gorgeous phone

Especially from John Lewis, with 2-year guarantee ...
This is more like the price it always should have been. They added Android One support to a basic Moto G phone (in fact slightly subpar against latest G7 mid level model) and charged Moto G Plus price for it. The Moto G series should have been Android One as soon as that scheme existed, they lost a lot of loyal fans when the G series stopped getting decent support.

I may be old but I remember when HUKD used to froth at the mouth for a Moto G phone deal, it was practically a meme! Remember those days @MrSwitch ?

I do actually, people used to wait with baited breath for the next Moto G to be released, now most of the time it's just meh!

Xiaomi is the new moto.

Especially as they're doing some A1 stuff. The Moto magic: was, above average quality for budget especially in camera area when budget cameras were all horrible, vanilla Android with a few nice extra touches (well thought through gestures), unfussy but classy design (Nokia take note), decent updates support.
Ah those were the days [misty eyed reflection.... ]
