Heat.

Would take the G plus instead of this but I believe this has a better camera ? I think.
@MrSwitch just when I thought I'd decided on the poco x3 you go and do this.

Heat given🔥
Heat added 🔥
Moto's own 5G Plus is a much better buy imo

Reviews looking a bit mixed for that, not seen many for this though actually.

Vanilla Android is Moto's biggest advantage. Otherwise, the X3 is a very compelling phone.

Cameras are neither here nor there because I'm not sure how good the extra ones on the X3 are. Other than that, the X3 is better in the battery department and is likely to edge ahead in performance. But then you do get into the murky area of how much slicker the UI is likely to be on the Moto...

I'd say mostly positive reviews. Not gonna be perfect for a 5G phone under £300.
But in terms of sheer specs it is the better phone. I also haven't seen any reviews for this one tbf and I'm not saying it sucks or anything. Still a decent offering I just think there are better bang for buck phones out there. Including from Moto themselves

I dont think the poco x3 can be beaten at its price point period.
Switchy sorry to hijack, did you get the pixel 4 xl?
For a range called ‘One’ Motorola/Lenovo sure have a lot of phones in this range.

Spec never really tells the whole story, camera quality definitely not, which is important for a lot of people and often the reason to pay more. The cameras on the 5g are getting pretty poor reviews, which would seem to be the reason for getting this.
BT197821/09/2020 20:03

And.....?

Camera quality - the sharpness and detail and point and shoot is unbelievable, yes it doesn't have the bells and whistles that something like my P30 Pro does (wide angle, 50x zoom etc) but there's no denting the camera software is unbelievable.

Battery seems good enough up to this point, still has 18 months manufacturers warranty with it, did have a slight issue with charging at first, but sorted out by buying a different Google charger.

Face unlock is superfast, I don't use finger print sensors at work, so face unlock is good enough, display is nice and crisp, forehead is bigger than I'd like, but not intrusive, one thing I noticed is, it's very very light, doesn't "feel" premium, but most of everything else does, build quality for one.

Stock Google I'm loving again, is currently still on August security, and not on 11 just yet, it is locked to EE, so thinking that may have something to do with it.

Far enough. Processor and battery more important than camera to me. But each to their own

The Poco X3 exceeds what this can offer in all areas from Antu score cameras etc. Run a comparison on kimovil ..It doesn't look a bad phone but certainly not hyper. I paid £153 for my x3 so from a cost perspective much cheaper. I used to be a big Moto fan until I got a redmi note 5.

Moto stock ish android is a big draw for some (ease of use) so simply telling people the specs on the X3 are better (which they are) it doesn't matter to some.

I know a load of people who'd rather have a OnePlus phone over a Samsung because of the UI

But I digress.

I look for bang for buck, but ease of use is more important for others. and miui is a bloated mess still, even with 12.

I gave the deal heat. Always had a good phone with Moto. I felt the same way about miui and normally custom ROM but due to Google pay not working I've stuck with miui. If they release a new android one phone I'm in.

Lol, price point..............period, means its the best thing that can be bought when compaired to everything else that costs the same price.
Hey. It's showing as £269? Is there a way to get it down to £239. Cheers

Appreciate the heat, I was just giving an alternative opinion
Slightly under powered compared to competing phones at this price point and IPS LCD. Can be forgiven for stock android. I do like motorola for that.
