Heat added for the SGSII. Potentially £18.9 pcm after TCB / Quidco (£35) for 2 yrs.

great deal - a useable contract at decent price for great phone

Im already with T-Mobile. Do I need to order this through Tesco and port my number to anyone, or will it just renew my contract with T-Mobile?

300 texts???

300 texts???

Yeah, or make it Unlimited for an extra £5 per month.

I very rarely use 300 these days, a lot of times I would have used a text I use GTalk, G+, Facebook or Twitter.

If you're due for an upgrade you could try and get T-Mobile to match this assuming you want the GS2.
If not then yeah, I think you will have to port your number to another Network and then back again.

i would personally go for SGS2 over RAZR as the later has a pentile display which seriously impacts the display

Not true, take a look at Phone Arenas look at Pentile displays.
The SGS had a Pentile display and that looks fine.

Where from?
Although you do realise you can make the texts Unlimited for £5 per month and T-Mobile don't charge extra no matter how much data you use.

Not everyone needs that many minutes or texts. BuyMobilePhones also have this tariff too but the phone is £99,

I am torn between this and waiting 2 weeks for the droid 4 essentially the same phone but with a slide out keyboard???? What to do???

keep in mind that we didn't even get the droid 3 or atrix 2 because of poor sales in the UK, the chances of getting the droid 4 a less then slim

Extra £5 a month for 300 more mins + 200 more texts......doesnt seem such a better deal to me - even though it may be better for some.
To say that makes this even "sh#*er" is just rude.....I think this is a top deal and be very useful for many.

spoke to retentions and got free SII, 600 mins, unlimited texts and internet for £25 a month. Not too shabby and saves messing with PAC codes.

Was that a 24 month Contract ?

I think he's got reason to be offended, even if he didn't post the deal, this is a community of people meant to be sharing 'Deals' and information.

If you don't think it's a good deal all you had to do was say that and then maybe post some examples of deals you thought were better so you could help others who are looking to get a SGS2 or RAZR.

My Mrs spoke to T-mobile retentions this morning as one of our contracts is up soon ( we currently have 4 contracts with them) they offered us an SGII , 400 mins, no internet for £25 a month and £90 for the phone.
I told her to tell them to get stuffed.

Try again, you might get someone nice willing to do you a deal, did you ask for your PAC?

you got offered better than me first time, but I asked for the PAC and they called me up an hour or so later with an improved deal which they were then able to improve further.

Good deal (heat added)...gives me some ammunition for when my contract with O2 comes up for renewal in a couple of weeks.

Spot on with that. It's Everything Everywhere you need to speak to.

As this deal is bought through 3rd party and not directly with T-mobile will the speed be capped?

T-Mobile Direct
DL - 1919kbps
UL - 414kbps
Ping 61ms

T-Mobile via 3rd Party
DL - 953kbps
UL - 433kbps
Ping 58ms

Previously, it had been capped to 384kbps. The 900kbps seems pretty good to me.
In more understandable terms it's 202kB/s (1.58Mbps) vs 119kB/s (0.93Mbps)

I think they cap as buying from a 3rd party is usually cheaper and thus buying direct from T-Mobile you're essentially paying for a higher speed.

Posted something simlar on the duplicate thread

Purchased late this afternoon. Quidco tracked @£35. Makes up for the fact that Virgin media are billing me until the 2nd on Jan. I rang thier retention department and they said they would match this, but didn't have any in stock, and weren't expecting any untill the new year so I said goodbye. Got e-mail stating my my application has been passed to a third party (T-MobileI presume?), so I wont get proper confirmation until tomorrow.

Got this offer for the S2 in store last week but it was £50 for the handset.
Great phone with better battery life than my HTC desire hd.

is this only applicable to t mobile or do all the networks do it? im look at razr on O2
