I'm thinking of this for my wife, whats the app compatibility like with the Intel processor, I heard it was a bit flakey when first released. Still heat for the OP.

Sweet! Thanks for this, didn't manage to find one in store so would have ended up paying more on ebay!

tempted.... very tempted, is their a compatibility issue with intel and apps?

Answering my own question as well but looking at the review of the San Diego posted earlier it seems the app compatability was fine. would like some confirmation from HUKD members if this is true mind. I just don't know if this phone is really worth the premium over the San Diego. Any thoughts?

If you're going to be using it on Orange then I would get the San Diego, If you want to unlock it get this.

Nice phone for the price, but Orange customer service is the pits, sorry this is abit of a rant as I'm not happy with them so far

I got a payg card from them and trying to speak to an operator is impossible, if there automated service can't understand your name or anything you are stuffed as you cannot speak to a actual person without having credit on the phone as they charge you to speak to a real person. Automated service don't understand you means you can't put credit, which means you can't talk to an advisor.

I tried there online chat help and explained the situation they just said go to an Orange store I asked can I buy credit from a local shop they said no, just at the orange store.

Then on the third day I tried the automated system again and this time it just asked me for my card details, it said £10 was credited, I got an text saying I had £10. I got a tect saying text DOLPHIN if I want to go onto that tarrif which I did so I can test the internet. I got a text back saying we have the package I just selected and ones with more data available and to text back NEW DOLPHIN to go on one of those tarrifs, I didn't text back.

I thought I got 1gb to test so last night I put my phone on wi-fi over night, go to use it today on mobile internet and it's not connecting to anything, then I get the oragne mobile homepage saying Sorry you don't have credit to view this page, earlier I got a text message saying you have 0.91p left. I've been trying to connect to the internet and restarting my phone and everything and making sure the Orange settings were selected in my phone. I just decided to call them, automated nightmare and then they tell me I can't speak to an operator as I don't have enough credit. Search online to work out how to check my balance, check the balance and I got a nice zero balance, after no calls or text and maybe 5 minutes of internet surfing yesterday lol and the only way you can speak to them is if you put more credit on or go to the shop.

This also works on T-Mobile!

I downloaded around 50 apps for mine, including Temple Run 1,2, FB, Twitter, Angry Birds and loads more. I tried around 120 or something apps to check the availability and EVERYONE worked. Don't worry about it.

Only £10 for pay as you go on quidco ? Unless someone can point me in the right direction ?

Also candy crush doesn't work on this and neither does the tomtom apparently

Depending on how much this bothers you oO

Would it be locked or branded to Orange?

Great deal. Does anyone know if it would invalidate the warranty if I get it unlocked?

how much ram does it have?

Bought and tracked at £10 on quidco.

Not cheqcked if it is locked but mine has no orange branding or bloatware at all

OP you need to edit the title , quidco is incorrect

Still £10 is still better than nothing

Worth viewing for some possible battery issues when doing the firmware upgrade over the air although mine was fine.

As of end of 21/05, QC was £30, but today down to £7.50 for PAYG phones upto £149.99.

The sale only started today, so it could not have had QC £30.

theres only £10 cash back? quidco

I`ve got this phone on a contract and would say it is really good. Nice display, no compatibility issues with apps like Templerun, BBC, Whatsapp and other popular ones. Also, has a good android operating system, good graphics and works well (you can even phone people with it!)

Would recommend and much better than my old Orange San Francisco but obviously it is not as good as a Galaxy S3.

Gadget Show seem to think it's as good as S3 and iPhone 5

Bought this. Quidco was definitely showing as £30 for this but confirm its tracked now at £10. Now looked at quidco website again and shows £10.

What the hell...sick of trying to make my Ascend G300 usable, so gone for this. Hope the battery life is as good as they say!

I hear you bro, G300 is just getting unusable. No matter how much I tweak it.

According to the other thread hotukdeals.com/dea…454 . The EE stocks are network locked, can pay someone to unlock though.

Only 8gb internal storage. Does it do apps to sd card?

Ordered as soon as I got home from work! Will have to sort unlock out when it arrives on Friday unless by some chance my Virgin sim card will work.

Thanks again for this Very happy to finally get one at a decent price.

I agree with the above. Just switched from Blade. I got on the tesco deal at £15 pm and as I was already on a sim only deal at £10 pm it's basically an extra fiver so I worked on basis that phone costing £120.
Very impressed with battery life only charging every couple of days.
Overall very happy :-)

Apart from the slightly larger screen, I can't really see any reason to pay £90 more on this than the San Diego. Am I missing something?

I would avoid this handset unless you like a gamble. In my experience Motorola make flaky products: this is bad enough, but their UK customer service is truly atrocious. In the not entirely unlikely event you'll be calling on their 'services', you'll find you're on your own. You may get lucky and get a handset that works; on the other hand...
