This has a zoom function and temperature sensor, but no on board SD card recording like the other deal.
I can't see any option in the user manual for the camera to save footage automatically to ones PC/NAS box.

Viewing/recording the camera while logged into the Android/web app is free, but in order to record video automatically you need one of their paid for monthly subscriptions.

see below for monthly charges...

The 1 and 7 day subscription plans can be applied to up to 4 cameras. The 30 day subscription plan can be applied to up to 10 cameras.

Don't think it can.Bit like some of the Swan ones, where they lock out the UI or it's very limited and can only work with their own software.
Do i get the tablet and phone also?
Always feel unsafe about the thought of viewing your home over the internet, if it could be hacked someone could see if your house was empty.
Can't say I've been away from the house on holiday and felt the need to open up my webcam for an video and audio chat with my pets but who knows?. I suspect this may appeal to any budding gardeners out there desperate to see and chat to their plants whilst away on vacation? Just saying!
I believe this doesn't have its own built-in server. Instead it links to Motorola's own server. Deal breaker for me. With all these Internet services being hacked, all someone needs is your password to login and view your home.
Excellent now I can see what my pussy is up to when I'm away.

Yup, you get to watch your pets having difficulties or possibly on their way out from a distance, a kind of pay for view snuff movie type thing. X)
Was looking to buy the similar [Motorola focus 85](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorola-Focus-Wi-Fi-Monitoring-Camera/dp/B00LFNBO2O) but this is £22 cheaper! Cant seem to find any differences between them either except this is black and says its for pets. We already have a focus 66 which doesn't pan/tilt and use it like a baby monitor but for our Grandad who has alzheimer's.
So what are you going to do when you sneak a peek at your dog chewing your leather sofa whilst you're 20 miles away at work? It'll still be knackered by the time you drive back.

The subscription is for cloud storage, not to be able to just view the camera live which is what the majority of these wireless security cameras only offer. So if you just want to use it to view live footage there is no need to pay a sub. But if you want them to save any video footage to review later then the monthly cost isn't that bad.

I know a lot of cameras save footage to a SD card on the device, but there is no real point to that if someone nicks the whole unit on the way out the door after nicking everything else. At least with the cloud storage if that happens you should still be able to view what happened and give the evidence to the police.

Maybe you could let me watch or play with your pussy too?
Obviously a relabelled baby monitor. Compared to the DLink competition it's a great price.

And they could tell where you live from the inside view of your living room ?

You could also place one of these camera up your backside as a BrainCam
