That's quite a drive just to get a pair.

Does anyone know if I get another pair of these if I can have all four connected together>

I have the T7, and you can match up as many as you want.

why bother switching off the mobile phone network when terrorist strike, … why bother switching off the mobile phone network when terrorist strike, I am sure that they will all be using one of these.

Hmmm... you seem to know rather too much about them [starts dialling]

That's the oddest looking walkie talkie I've ever seen. Looks more like a shower radio!

What exactly do people use "walkie talkies" for these days?

Don't they mobile phones?

Small scale events where we need to talk alot and not use up all the minutes on a phone up.

Theme parks in USA. Worked a treat for us last year.

we've been using this model (though ours are orange in colour) for a couple of years to keep tabs on the kids when they are out and about. they work well, and use standard frequencies so they will communicate with a different brand we also have. we paid about 20 pounds for them from amazon. amazon now charge 50 though! would highly recommend. three AAA rechargeables will keep the unit running for around 24hours, without switching off I mean.

We use them for Scout camps, walks and bike rides were the front of thebgroup and the back need to in contact a fair amount of the time.

Does anyone know what headsets these take?

Can you just use the headset from a mobile phone or do they need something specific?

Not really if like me and many others who live quite close by!

1. They are not advertising anything
2. They have a stock checker online, you can check before you make a journey to your local store.
