No problem, I only noticed because I was trying to hunt down the 4GB version yesterday and didn't have much luck. Would have been a no brainer at this price.

It is a really good price. I'm tempted with this one, but there's so much choice these days, I haven't a clue where to spend my money. FYI Motorola are also selling this at the same price hotukdeals.com/dea…047

I'm a bit boggled myself. I only started looking seriously this week. I'm feeling like I done want to go below 4GB of ram when there are phones starting to turn up with 6GB!

I've just been looking at this:

hotukdeals.com/dea…792

It's not much more expensive, but it's still a little more than I want to pay truthfully.

Hahaha.... This is so weird, I've just had a reply on twitter about this (honor 9) and the honor view 10 that is here
hotukdeals.com/dea…799
That these two prices are glitches, and that I should snap them up whilst they are still live.
When I saw them posted today I was flabbergasted, especially the view 10 as this has literally just been released at £449. And the £279.95 is the cheapest the 9 has ever been. Go for either, coz they won't be there long.

Also the reply was from honor uk, in case you're wondering.

Hahaha, oh my, that's a brilliant repsonse!

Which one did you go for then?
Worthwhile upgrade from the iPhone 6 Plus?

Worthwhile upgrade from the iPhone 6 Plus?

Not really... You're going from a former high end phone to today's mid-ranger. You're basically doing a sideways upgrade.

Also, the jump to Android will either be very good or very bad. Either way it'll be a shock to the system, depending on how much you'll need to migrate.

Obviously, I don't know what your phone needs are, but generally, if you're switching from an iPhone, you're more likely to be happy with a top tier Android like the Google Pixel 2 or Samsung Galaxy S8 or OnePlus 5T

You can buy PCs with 32GB or much more but that doesn't mean you need it unless you are a power user.
The same goes with phones as I keep track of the responsiveness and RAM usage of my phones and 3GB still gives me plenty of headroom.
Unless you plan on keeping a phone for more than 2 years and are a power user I think 3GB is still fine.
This is 25£ cheaper if you buy from carphone warehouse. See other thread. I just got g5s plus but too big so might get this instead
I would have been tempted if it was dual sim .

Probably £75 or £90 cheaper in fact if you do the rolling 1 month contract trick through tcb. It worked for me on a Nokia 6 just before Christmas, worked out at a total c. £70 for the phone for me. Phone was £119.99 with £15 monthly contract, cancelled the contract straightaway and they never took anything, and the £50 cashback paid out around mid January I think it was. Withdrew it straight away in case they changed their minds!

They now say you have to have the simo for at least 3 months before they will pay out

Think that was out there then too, but still got the £50. Not guaranteed, but definitely worth a punt if you find a fairly good deal.

I totally agree, cashback is never guaranteed, and should not ever be relied upon, if I were to pay £249 for this phone, I'd be a happy man.

Even without the tcb, the CPW deal is only £224.99 at most.
It's a good discount/deal I guess. However, having got a Moto G5 last year and that it's not had any security or other updates available for over a year now, I personally won't be buying any further Motorola devices.
Review here cnet.com/pro…ew/ Great phone, great specs, good price. Yep not many updates but my Moto works perfectly. Hate my annoying iphone with its crap battery.
