Vodafone free sim in box

It said lte on the box. Is that 4g or not?

yes that means 4g

XT1039 is 4G model and also has Micros SD slot.

Given a couple of stores in Walsall/Darlaston a bell and been quoted £130 for the phone on Vodafone at both. Top price if you can find it for £60.

Come on, why would it say mobile phone on receipt and not Motorola Moto G 4G,
Spoke to asda today and they confirmed it too Moto G 1st Gen @ £59. Moto G 4G @ £130. Its whole load of bull

prove me wrong? i didnt even say anything other than amramjam was moaning.

3 or 4g, the Moto g is a great basic smartphone, I have the 2nd Gen phone and can vouch for the quality, I paid £99 from Tesco

been to two asdas today amd in both this phone wouldnt scan so they wouldnt sell me it for anything less than the ticket price £130

I think the op has been lucky

Some people owe the op a bit of an apology imo. They don't seem to understand that there are 2 versions of the 1st gen moto g, one with 4g and one without. The 2nd gen is not technically 4g but there will most likely be an updated model like the 1st gen had.

Wow sweet deal. Asda misprice is my guess. Staff thick as. Who sub's decaf coffee for reg??? Lolz.

It clearly says LTE on the box that's 4g very good price

That made a lot of sense... Are you sure it's Asda staff that are "thick as"?

The barcode on the receipt matches that on the box so it's 4g. prob got lucky.

Excellent price for the phone. Clearly a 4g LTE version from looking at the box. Some folk DO need to apologise. Be big boys and admit you were wrong :-)

Sounds like maybe it wouldn't scan so staff have looked up price for wrong model and used that as they ate quite similar e and g....

i was typing on my phone. it's what us kids do nowadays? my ex wife works there, so yes, pretty sure some of the staff are thick as *bleeeeep*

what a difference anyway..3g or 4g.. in Britain mobile internet speeds is garbage... try 4g in eastern Europe.. especially in Lithuania.. up to 50Mb/s

Which model is:

XT1039 (Moto G LTE)

Is it 1st Gen or 2nd Gen Moto G?

I got it for £35 at Asda, wasn't coming up on system and then they said it was £35 so I took the gamble it was the correct one.

It says 4G on the back of the box.

In India at the moment with exact same phone, 4g not compatible as on different frequency, 3g works as 2g, however it trickles data, back to the UK for me where speeds were good

Top luck on that 4g phone buddy. Got me riled up to go search a few more Asdas. Can report none in Yeovil but will check Frome tomorrow and let ya'll know

i used to work for asda`s, and if you think the staff are thick,

you should meet the customers

i only ever shop online from asda - and even that is rare, as they manage to screw up my order 99.9% of the time.

Why? He seems to be the only one who has got one, everyone else who has looked have found them to be £130.
Lets face it he got lucky, probably didnt scan, staff have then got the price of the non 4g moto g and charged that. A deal for him but quite obviously but its not a legit deal.

I bought one Moto G 4G for £60 at Asda. More stock expected. Keep trying.

I'll check my local

some asda store are still getting stock may two or three and selling at £60.

Tried my local asda, have stock but not on the system, and refuse to sell it for any amount.

would be useful if people could mention the name of the stores they have checked.

Actually smart ****, they're reduced to clear, which is why a lot of shops don't have them in stock, and won't be getting them in stock in the future.

Anyone who CAN snap these up is lucky, as they are very good phones, but they aren't the only ones getting axed down.
S3 mini is another going for £50.00 [although I'm certain these are now well and truly out of stock]

We might be 'Thick As', but Christ, at least people know what I'm going on about.

With love,
The ASDA Phone Shop Team.

£44 i just paid for it in Asda Cribbs Causeway 1 per customer!!!

its the Lte version
