...update: i can't believe how much vote difference between this and a £9000 for a second owner citroen c4, which i have bought 2 years ago and posted here which got more than 2000 votes. this is audi and it is 2.0 auto with warranty on first owner based warranty... unbelievable.

Interesting marketing tactic 'Save £11k on new list price' ie - The car has depreciated by £11k in a year....

11k would buy a cracking warranty

Or wait 4 years and buy two, so you have a spare.

Is this a PCP deal

My pre reg citroen C4 cost 11k with 5 miles on the clock. Can't justify why they ask 28k for brand new audi.

Went to motorpoint to buy audi q3 nearly a month ago. Very courteous staff. Shame they didn't have any q3's in stock in the chingford branch. They had one somewhere up north close to Newcastle that I liked. Asked me to pay £300 deposit to bring the car down to London which could take two weeks, and they said it was refundable in case I didn't like the case for a valid reason (they were very vague on the definition of 'valid reason'). I wasn't willing to part with my money without looking at the car, so I politely declined and went to car giant.

yes, you are quite right, i personally prefer cargiant as well, mototrpoint is bit like "here what we have, we don't care what you want!" :):):)

comparing a c4 to an audi a3 is like comparing an onion to a Strawberry.

Yes, last year I wasted time and miles going to Motorpoint for cars they claimed to have but didn't (and never did have) in stock at that branch. They then quote that dubious little scam as a way round!
When I did find one they actually had in stock as claimed I found it had had bodywork at a non manufacturers approved place (and of course no replacement warranty from them) so bang goes the 12 years anti-corrosion warranty. For a car with less than 1000 miles on the clock that I was wanting to keep for many years (drive low miles now, but need an ultra-reliable car as I am disabled). Some of the others I looked at there with higher mileage which when I enquired had had servicing by some unknown outfit - I wasn't in the mood to find myself without the remaining years of warranty and left chasing problems up with them when things go wrong.

Ended up at a main dealer with a lower priced almost new pre-reg car virtually nothing on the clock and which had no bodywork problems at £5K less than the new price!

Nobody is paying list price anyway so it hasn't lost 11k.

I'm struggling to see the comparison between an Audi and an onion :-)

... but surely a one (or two) year old Audi would come with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty (probably 3 years)?

Most of Motorpoint cars have 2 year warranty as imported.

wouldn't bother paying for their extended warranty, wear and tear and consequential damage not covered oO

nope, as long as you are the second owner, even a mile or a day old car will loose it's warranty. (as far as i know of course)

Never heard of any car warranty like that. I have had several cars with manufacturers warranties that I have taken on or have passed on to the buyer. Car Warranties are transferable, Audi included, as long as servicing etc is up to date, you change details with them and carry on as if you were the first owner.

no it won't. it will come with remaining balance. so if it's 1 year old audi. you still have 2 years left regardless who owns it.

that's because an onion is sweeter than a c4 and an onion is definitely not sweet.

I think this was right. I'm pretty sure my Skoda Superb will have the same warranty terms as the Audi - which is 3 years/60,000 miles and transferable to a second (or subsequent) owner.
