Motorycle gear sale, Leather Jacket £35, Helmets £25, postage £5

I just noticed this whilst browsing the site for something else, under their special offers section they're clearing Probe armoured leather jackets for £35, Takachi Helmets for £25, Boots for £25 (I think) and some gloves cheap as well - its not high quality gear but it is all CE approved so it is safe.

HJC Helmets are higher quality than the Takachi and still cheap at £40

And postage is a flat £4.99 so you could completely kit yourself out for under £100

Please restrain yourself from voting cold if you're not interested in the product - only chill it if you can beat it!

see what you think.

Busters are a large store in Swansea...

some great deals here. voted HOT !!!
I PAID AS MUCH FOR A LEATHER WHEN I RODE A BONNY!

Had a few sets of tyres from them, good service!

VERY VERY HOT price, just bought a new jacket for quad biking on...armour is a must and is pre-installed.

Many thanks for highlighting this :thumbsup::thumbsup:

good prices but its hard to know if the size you pick will fit.

Garbage I had same problem, see this link:

To help you convert

some good prices on that site - cheers for the info now need to get another bike :-D

I've used busters before and they are okay

However don't buy a helmet by mail order. All helmets are a slightly different shape so if a large of one type fits it doesn't mean all large helmets will fit. Many stores will not accept helmets back for safety reasons (you could have dropped it..)

heat added, looks like a good deal with many items reduced!!

Some good deals here, have used them before myself. Also Bikebitz uk sometimes have some good deals on bike stuff

ive added heat for you too.
i have ordered from busters before and visited the store in person - infact, i have one of the £25 takachi helmets for when i take pillions - they do great prices and the products are good too (not their fault if they werent anyway) only shame is when you spend more you dont get free delivery - but still good prices including delivery

Tempted to buy the jacket but I dont have a bike! Might just buy it

thanks for the heat guys, first deal I've posted that's been well received! And thanks for the tip on bikebitz.uk

cheers and keep it rubber side down!

Busters are fine, never had a problem with em.

Why would you buy a motorcycle jacket if you don't own a bike?

It's won't be fashionable, bike jackets usually are short and will look stupid if worn out on the town.

If you live in or near Swansea it's worth going to the shop as they have the same deals instore.

Grrrr, need a new helmet but they don't have a single Caberg Helmet, let alone the one I want

Sone nice Jackets there, but more than happy with my top-of-the range Frank Thomas leather jacket costing £300 that I got for £99 :P

I've seen their brochures inside MCN before and they do have some good stuff. Here's another site worth looking at, ive bought a good few items here:

getgeared.co.uk

Nice find I ordered some stuff last night but I haven't got any confirmation email yet. Has anyone else got confirmation?

Remember that friends episode where joey pretend he has a porsche...I could pretend I have a bike

Nah they didnt have my size anyways

Hmmmm
Let`s all have a think
What stuff has been rduced here.
All of the sh1te that no one wants!!!
Busters sell some decent gear-buy that instead of a fecking takachi "helmet"
CE approved does not mean it`s safe
It means it`s passed the minimum mark
Be safe folks

You should never buy a helmet mail order.
Its critical that crash helmets are a correct fit. Some make helmets i use a size M, others a L will fit better. Other makes i cant get a correct fit whatever the size.
I personally dont rate the Takachi's, but the HJC are good lids..... And the leather jacket is an absolute bargain seeing as it has CE body armour fitted. Although with only a mesh lining it will only be good for summer riding.
All in all though, some great priced motorcycle stuff, especially if you've just started biking..... So voted hot.

Well CLEARLY you know better than the rest of us .......NOT.

The Helmets are Safety standard ECE22.05 ACU Gold standard for use on the track. The benchmark for a decent safe approved tried and crash tested device.

I bought an ACU Gold standard helmet in sure knowledge that it will save my ar5e should I crash, helmet was a Nitro only cost 35 quid has same acu accreditation as a 300 quid shoei.

If you have the dis-pleasure of travelling down a road at high speed having parted company with your bike 100 yards earlier you may understand the importance and relevance of these standards.................Ignorance is bliss:thinking:

Poor boy
Who am I to argue with someone that values their head at £35

Nothing wrong with helmets with a sub £50 price, I had a cheap £50 Rayven flip top one that saved my head from a nasty bang and no doubt severe grazing when I came off at 35mph round a bend.

Ironically was on the way to buy some new gloves....ended up with bloodied up hands with lots of gravel embedded in my palms lol.

Treated myself to one of the £24.99 helmets for use in the car on track. Superb price !

Thanks !
