The cheapest deal i've seen elsewhere for the Mountech Motion Maxi is £143, so for less than £100 it is a bargain. There may be other cheap brackets that you can get for less, but there aren't many that can hold 70kg AND move as smoothly as this one. It mentions that in some stores the item may be ex-display, but the one I got from the Leicester store was new and fully boxed with all the instructions. It's a high quality piece of kit, with reviews almost everywhere getting top marks (with the only negatives being the high price).

The Motion Maxi MAC882 is suitable for TVs from 37 inch to 55 inch and up to 70KG in weight, making it suitable for plasma TVs. It's also fitted with adjustable attachments, so this bracket works with almost any large screen TV and it features a sophisticated cantilever mechanism that lets you both tilt and swivel the TV.

Supplied fully assembled and designed and built in the UK, you know that you're not getting cheap foreign rubbish.

Can't speak for that particular brand vs those habitat ones on amazon but amazon mounts are a lot cheaper.

can't believe everyone is voting this cold - the same mount is £175 on Amazon. Yes, you can get cheaper wall mounts, but I thought this site was supposed to have been designed to help people find cheap deals for the things they want, rather than just finding the cheapest possible tat.

I can believe people voting cold! £100 for something you can't see and just needs to do its job. This site is supposed to help people and does. This does not. We got a corner swivel wall bracket with 2 shelves for our 42 inch Sony Bravia for £50 and it is superb. Just 1 example of many at a far lower price

"It's job" is whatever you need it to do. A bit off topic, but technically, a car's job is to get you from point A to point B, so why would anyone then buy anything other than the cheapest possible car? Choice. I chose this and this was the cheapest possible deal, so therefore posted the deal just on the off chance that someone else might choose to get it, and if they do, then they can get it for the same price as I did. If anyone else can find THIS bracket for less, then please let me know - richersounds will price match.

Therefore I believe my point still stands. If I found your own corner swivel bracket for £10, then the £50 you paid was a rip off. Likewise, if it was supposed to be on sale for £200, then you got a bargain. Therefore it was more beneficial for you to have seen the one you wanted for a £50, rather than miss out on it and have to settle for one of the endless other TV brackets (that may not have been what you wanted) for £5.

People have voted on their feet and the post is cold whatever you "believe". Don't start slagging off voters. £100 for this kind of wall bracket is not a good deal. The difference in the original price and the now price is not necessarily a bargain. You need to look at what you are paying for at what price to represent a good deal.
