Love a good film? Well we’ve teamed up with the smart folks at Wuaki.tv to create EE Film Club. It’s a new way to stream a film of your choice every week for £1 – exclusively if you’re on EE, Orange or T-Mobile. Simply text film to 141 for your promo code, then go to uk.wuaki.tv/eef…lub between Monday and Wednesday to pick a film (text costs 35p).

Sure this was posted and went ridiculously cold.

But was over 4 weeks ago I don't see the negative in it so heat from me.

Compare to the Meerkat Movies deal, this is shocking. I'm presuming they rolled out the Power Bank scheme to make up.

Seems like a good enough deal to me - rent a movie for £1 instead of 3-4 times as much. What is "cold" about that?

Because, compared to their 241 offer before, it's sh*t. I would rather pay the extra 40p and get 241 for a whole year.

Your not exactly comparing like for like are you in fairness, one I have to get off my fat **** and get to a cinema, the other is offering me a movie through my TV for a quid.....I genuinely can not help but see the deal in that.

I mean yes but £1.35 every time is rather quite expensive when you can spend £1.70 odd and get 241 for a whole year. I didn't see the bad but I would rather have the cinema option.

Yes but isn't £1.35 purely for the entitlement? It's still costing you an additional (what is it these days?) £9 for two tickets? 9 x 52 = £468 granted you get to leave the house

But here we are discussing an entirely different concept where it is 1.35 x 52 = £70.20 and more than two can view.......surely you see both the difference and the deal?

Good deal of you don't wanna end up stating at the back of the tall blokes head whilst listening to the crunch of cheesy nachozt

It's not a cold deal in fairness, take it for what it is and stop comparing to a previous scheme, beats the likes of sky etc regarding rental price.

Probably the same people marking it cold who you find commenting on good deals saying "marking this cold because 7 year, 324 days a go I got it for 50p cheaper..."

Surprised this isn't hot, seems good to me

I tried it a couple of days ago. The code doesn't work on all movies in their collection (wouldn't let me rent 'interstellar') so had to find a film it would let me watch. Then the resolution through my chromecast was awful. I frequently use my chromecast for Netflix and that looks fine (not sure if full HD, but HD for sure) but with Wuaki.tv it often descended into pixelly fuzz. The idea is good but I think the execution is bad, maybe it will improve as time goes on. Still I prefer the old cinema deal.

anyone know if you can use the code on their smart TV app to get the discount ?

You can redeem it on the website and view it in the wuaki app

Brill deal. We often get a movie for the children from wuaki so it's def hot from me!

They still haven't explained how tablet customers can get this code (also applies to the free power bank deal too) as most tablets cannot send (but can receive) SMS.

Yes, you can but you have to make sure that the film you are choosing is in the list of the EE Film Club. The offer is valid for the vast majority of their content but not every title.
