Movies starting from different price points, £2.99 appears to be the cheapest. Quite a lot of new and older/cult titles (Arrow Video movies etc).

TV shows are available also, but there's not as many choices compared to the movies.

Sooo... What's the deal?
I've got a feeling Amazon will start moving more and more from there, included with prime, to this in the future.
Primes video n tv offerings are poor.
Thank you for posting. Some good deal there actually Saving Private Ryan £3.49 to buy.

Hop Google don't price match as like to keep all my digital films in one place. Got films on Google Play/Flixster, Itunes and Amazon..

Surely Amazon make enough money through Prime membership. Why don’t they just add them to the membership.

Because that's not how movies and TV show licenses work. Prime already has 1000s of films, much more than Netflix and NowTV combined. But they can't afford every single movie out there, there are just too many.
Battle Royale for £2.99 is pretty much my only unpurchased highlight.
"The Longest Day" - £2.99

Purchased, cheers
