Cheapest ever. Deal of the day on Amazon. Add something like blu-tak (90p) for free delivery (Thanks @Hunt4deal )

I have these on the bath/toilet windowsills so the PIR sensor turns on when I need a toilet break during the night.

What I do is position the solar panels outwards towards the light and it collects during the day so much so that if you walk past/move in the bathroom, it lights up for 30 seconds. Wave your hand for another 30 sec.. Just another energy saving thing I've implemented around the house.

Also used these as standard outside darted along footpaths/side of house/fence: they are superb and have not let me down in 3 years.

Alternatively, get the upgraded versions (30 LEDs for £19.59 / add something for 41 pence non-prime) over at hotukdeals.com/dea…523

The 30 LEDs version came out 14 Dec. 2018 and the 20 LEDs ver. came out 10 Feb. 2018.

Hope that helps,
ATB.

just bare in mind it's 1 mode version! only 30s sensor mode - no dimmed light sensor mode nor the one that stays on all night long.

The energy would soon be depleted if they were to stay on all night, especially in winter. I have these and they work perfectly well.
Also worth noting the 30 LED version are also on sale for about 75p more - great find OP 🏻

I was thinking that, which ones are better? For 40p or so so more you get 30 LEDs rather 20. Although not quite sure more is better here as depends on lumen. As surely more led means more power drain and more time to charge up, but either way it's solar powered so not to bothered.
Just which one is newer? I assume the 30led one but looking at reviews, the comments on the 30led are nearly 2 years old. The 20led one are within the last year.
A little confused by this i thought they were solar ? "I have these on the bath/toilet windowsills so the PIR sensor turns on when I need a toilet break during the night " a good idea but not sure it would work for long if at all .

They are solar powered/charged but only light up when movement is sensed by the PIR (ie they dont just come on when it gets dark and stay on).
Will theses reduce further with the up coming prime day ?

Thanks OP have some heat. Ordered the 30 LED one due to the larger 270 degree angle.

Perhaps. But this is as low as it's been for a while. I think the 30 LEDs is better deal though a little more expensive at £19.51.

Added in the link in OP / hotukdeals.com/dea…523 for those who's trying to find the 30 LED which I think is probably better than this deal for the extra LEDs.

For those wondering re: toilets/windowsills: I just bung it there so it points towards the window where there's light and it collects through the day and uses minimal at night time. It helps when you're trying to find the light switch or just stumbling in for quick visit..

Think back to solar powered calculators and you only need to point the panels towards light for it to switch on.

Held up crudely by my finger but you could also attach side on using double sided velcro or no nail glue or screw and wallplug

Ok, I see what you mean. I have one of that type too. Bought it from B&M, not a brilliant light, but effective enough. Your's sound much better.
"Be tired of electric light and troublesome switch installation but worried about dark yard at night?

Afraid of power failure on thunderstorm?

Have no chance to enjoy comfortable night swimming ? "

I have no chance to enjoy comfortable night swimming so definitely buying.
Frankly the "corner" side mounted LEDS really help with a wide, good throw of light (onto concrete path) in my instance!

I have both small & large (but not the battleship sized units) & all work stupendously well compared to the competition.

these ones, ...look at the leds on the fascia moulding it's not all throwing one direction, ....I swear by it for a better wider light pool. (mine south facing)

Quite possible yes , I keep forgetting about Manchester on the wrong side of Pennines
Wtf this is bs. My last MPOW deal got removed by some mod on here saying they're not trusted. That was only a couple month ago...

Having used both lights your correct the 30 LED ones are better. Just be mindful anyone buying these you cant put them too close to each other, if you do when they both light up one of them senses its bright and switches off.

A great price though 5 quid a piece had mine since July 2018 and still going strong. Make sure you place them like 7 foot or above to deter theft. They are easily pulled off the wall since they're held on by two screws.
Dang it, think it's oos now

Yeah 😔.
Have been upgrading my led lights recently and these look like a bargain, the Mpow lights I have already are quite a bit better than all the generic ones so I'm gutted that these are all gone.
I'm sure they'll be back on offer at some point though.
£23.99 on Ebay, why do I have to be so impatient?

I bought a few similar to this, all of them have exploded...

They used capacitors instead of rechargeable batteries, for whatever reason the capacitors blew up.

simply don't use 'similar' ones.. just those tried and tested.. like Mpow's

They were MPOW...

I love your faith in mass produced Chinese garbage but I can't help but suspect it is misplaced.

Yesterday I received 2 of the folding Mpow lights, opened the box and the wrapping was stuffed in the bottom of both boxes along with some loose screws. The casing of both had obviously been opened up and badly put back together with a single screw, all the rest were loose in the box.
Marks and scuffs showed that they had probably been fitted at some point.
I looked at the Amazon reviews and a few people had complained about the same problem!
Contacted amazon and they provided me with a returns note and promised refund.
Unfortunately these will probably be reboxed and sent out to the next purchaser, hoping that they can't be bothered to return them.
Messaged Mpow to let them know their system is pants.
From now on I'll maybe stick to the similar ones.
