Ordered. Cheers op

Good a 3 packs of tecknet ones of Amazon for a tenner a few weeks back seems better value to me

I have these to save turning the main led lights on in the muddle of the night as they are too bright. these give off just the right amount of light to see in a dazed state and so far have lasted 11 months on 1 set of batteries.

no I'm not a witch!

Excellent night lights, I have lots of these.

£8.99 is a good price if you just want one, but it is often cheaper to buy in three packs if you keep an eye on prices on Amazon and Ebay. I paid £17.31 for three earlier in the year from Amazon.

It's most economic to use high capacity Low Self Discharge (LSD) rechargeable batteries with these. 4 x AA are needed. 2100mah Uniross Hybrio can be picked up for around £5 a pack on Ebay. These last a few months before needing a charge, I find.

it's a bit of a high price so voting cold - nothing wrong with the product or even people paying this price, but this is a tiny item than can be mass produced and shipped from China on the cheap. Anything above £3 is local retailer profit, which in case of Amazon doesn't even get taxed in the UK

These are really good. Had a house fire a few years ago that knocked electrics out. As these are battery operated, we could find our way out

I put three in my garden less than 8 months ag, and 2 of them have died a dead (no, not just battery!).

Well the description would you make you think differently:

"Weatherproof Design for indoor or outdoor lighting." - a normal person would conclude these could be put up outside regardless of if any IP rating was shown.

Indeed. You'd also expect the name of the product including the word 'anywhere' to have some basis at least!

In fact... "All units are IP44 rated, which means the weatherproof design will satisfy both indoor and outdoor LED light applications." Taken from the item (I bought) description

I'm sorry I hadn't realised and yes you are rigth that is misleading!!!

Full manual -> mrbeams.com/upl…pdf

Info on the 723 which is apparently weather resistent -> mrbeams.com/upl…pdf

Would be interested to know if the 720 and 723 are different in this way, but still no mention of an IP rating. GibsonSt19 I really would recommend seeking a refund from Amazon for misrepresentation!

As these -> amazon.co.uk/Tec…y_0 have an IPx4 rating they may be better suited (and cheaper).

Trying to initiate a refund through the automated amazon process gets me this... "This item is no longer eligible for return." Looks like I'll need to pester a real human being to get it sorted. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.

they're the ones I got it may have been a lightning deal but I paid a tenner. One is meant for outside but not convinced of level of waterproofing despite description clearly starting it is ok. Again it's Amazon so I'll try and if it fails back it goes.

I dont know how bright these are but I bought a 3 pack of something similar for ~£15 from amazon. They we'rent super bright but still gave decent illumination.

Edit- they were the ones alex linked earlier

do these come with a sticky back so i can just stick them on the wall?

Bought 3 via flubit for £21.

These seem to be very good, I actually wish I needed them so I could justify buying them.

High Capacity LSD oO

Thanks OP!!

We have a similar but different Mr beams motion and dark sensors bought for £12 for a 2 pack a couple of weeks ago. They are really great. Good light, good sensors. But as others have said they should be around £5 for a 2 pack as they are an unknown brand name selling what looks like cheap Chinese product. Still would rather have this over a no name inport from Hong Kong but would check the price.

Amazon had a Lightening deal last year for a triple pack for £15. They are going strong still indoors and on original batteries. I have them on the stairs, hallway and bathroom. Bright enough to see where youre going. Great product.

We've used these outside for a couple of years, so they definitely weatherproof. However like any other PIR sensor used outdoors, they can be set off by other things like cars and the wind blowing (causing temperature changes I assume) So there will be countless 'false' activations every night. I find that my Eneloop batteries installed typically last about 3 months when used outdoors.

I wish the set of three were on sale aswell. Heat added!

great lights, I bought the 3 pack and use them on the landing and stairs. Very handy for a 2year old who sometimes gets out of bed roaming around, or getting up early for work not needing to put on the main light intruding on other people still sleeping. +heat

We've got these and the TechNet ones. Both are good but these are a lot better, the light is brighter but seems to be a warmer light so is easier on the eyes at night, The PIR on these is better too especially in pitch black. Also these looks a lot better.

Not a bad price but looked on ebay and got a pack of 3 for £22.80 with 48hour tracked delivery.

High Capacity LSD oO

I'm not sure what your comment means to say?

I think he's referring to lysergic acid diethylamide also known as LSD

At first I read it as Mr bean. wondered how he would be using them...

Just used the mastercard deal with this :- hotukdeals.com/dea…752 . For an extra £5 off. Nice.......

It says £12.00 on the website??

deal has expired
