Oh I love this store now

35g bags of Mr Porky pork scratchings for 19p, 50p in Tescos!

I'm going to buy 50 packs!

Date is 31 Jan 09 which is probably why they're being knocked out cheap as chips!

Yummy

Yeah, they're not too bad.

you're going to eat 50 packets by 31 january!? good luck

Ooh, hot. Are they actually the prime cut ones that are shown in the picture or the normal ones in a gold bag?

Plenty in the (smallish) store I visited, probably not a lot by 5:30pm tonight though when I've visited again :whistling:

They will still be edible after the 31st, and for 19p I can afford to chuck a few packs out!

disgusting but good price

Lush, guna sneek em into the pictures to eat instead of popcorn.

so coooooooooooooooool dudeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

none in cardiff today

hope these are in my local when i go there ...mmmm scratchings are stunning

Pork scratchings are great! A bag of scratchies with a cold lager... Mmmm!! Hot deal!

You cannot beat the old hairy ones...

Love pork scratchings but not had a pack for a good six months, that's gone right out of the window, first stop on way home!

Hope these aren't made in Ireland

Shima

I love these but be careful they're over 60% fat :w00t: heart attack in a bag

I used to work at the Red Mill factory near Bolton. Some of the nicest people I met on a summer job, but working nights quality control with red hot pork bits looking for black course hair and bone was fairly grim. Side note, the dorito style crisps they supply to Netto/Sainsburys/Asda et al were all the same, just different packaging. They were and are very nice. I still tend to stay away from pork full stop... and that was all over 8 years ago. I'd never buy a bag of these, but each to their own. Everyone else that worked there loved them.

These are seriously bad for your health- look after your heart and avoid them Imagine what is in the packet and what it will do to your body- yuck!

No - you can avoid that risk by having them in sandwiches made using Benecol spread...

Pork Scratchings are food fit for Kings.

In contrast to the negative comments about being unhealthy, my colleague wanted me to say that he has survived just fine on a pack of these every day for the last three years

... unfortunately he cannot reach his keyboard to tell you himself.

These are the reason why my cholestrol level is soo high.....but so what!

You are a long time dead and Porky Scratchings are just the best tasting bad thing you can eat!

As long as they are not made in Ireland though! lol :-)

Any spare packs, I will be hppy to receive

Bargain.

They had quite a few 19p bargains in the Northfield one on Sunday.
Bottle of sweet chilli sauce were 19p, and so were the Amoy sachets of Chinese Sauce. Use by was Feb I think

My misses has just started working for the people that make them.
She's the UK brand manager and one of the brands she's in charge of is "Mr Porkys".
They can't be bad for you. They sponsor a sports star... Peter "one dart" Manley

Yeah..... these are wicked! The ones where you can still see the marks from
the pigs identity stamp definitely have the most flavour.

Shame I don't live near a store.... Damn!

I love pork scratchings but i'm sure they make them harder now then they used to. Some of them feel like real tooth breakers.

I'd rather eat kangeroo cock, then again it could be pig cock in the packet!!
