Seriously scrumptious!! Serves 6...or 1 in my case.

This is not just any trifle...

The key to its deliciousness is the perfect ratio of custard, cream, sponge and fruit, expertly developed to create the perfect dollop. Made with Madagascan vanilla thick-set custard, it's packed with double cream, a light sponge and a compote made with 80% whole strawberries and raspberries.

This stuff is so good that when I win the Euromillions, I shall fill a swimming pool up with it and dive in.
If I drown, at least I shall die happy.
Great spot OP.

Does it have sherry in it? That's the deal breaker.
Hate the new adverts, so I’m boycotting them. I can imagine the shareholders are quivering in their boots.

I usually make my own but bought this Monday. What a mess! Really runny custard ‘layer, way too sweet and jammy fruit and sponge. Never again!
A trifle too expensive if you ask me

So, what makes this trifle so good? Made with Madagascan vanilla thick-set custard, it's packed with double cream, a light sponge and a compote made with 80% whole strawberries and raspberries. M&S chose to include a fruit compote instead of a jelly after it asked the public to vote on which they would prefer in its new creation. Compote won "by some margin", the brand said.

Sold!
Had it. Everything was on point. But not a fan of the compote. It was too acidic, but the cream and custard helped balance it out. I prefer jelly. They should of thought of ways to make that fancy instead.
I want one.
