Average food at an average price. I'd rather pay a few quid more and get some better food out of their proper ranges and cheaper wine from somewhere else.

Personally I always find M&S food excellent. On the last deal I also got a £6 bottle of wine in the deal. Excellent post.

love it!

I think it's always better to cook properly than to heat up food that's been made in a factory but this is good stuff for when people are pushed for time. They seem to do this regularly now, it must be doing well for them.

Anybody know which foods are in the offer?

Thank you for adding details of the foods in the offer

thanks-this is lovely for a treat-i wouldn't buy the stuff at normal price-but its lovely for a weekend night in front of the telly-thanks for letting us know !

I cook every night and so on one weekend night I like a night off. Had an excellent bottle of £5.99 wine in my deal last time, a really lovely main course and pud and some really nice green veg. I think this is an excellent deal.
Voted hot again.

Last time I did this they had oakham chickens in the offer, I got a massive chicken and some fresh new potatoes, and made roast chicken and roast new pots, (and veg but that was seperate!) and used the remaining (only me and my boyfriend in the house) to make a chicken pie the next day (with some of the white wine that we didn't glug) using the remaining new pots for a bit of mash (and loads of spinach) if that's not proper cooking, I dunno what is!

Mmmmmm sounds lovely, you can cook for me anytime

(yes yes I'll do the washing up )

good deal with staff discount

Looks a really good deal this. All M&S food is of good quality so i'm guessing that the food in the deal will be good as any.

Plus with getting a bottle of win in with the deal, who can argue for a tenner...

Will be trying this friday and will report back

HI!
Just to let you know...

This will be happening every other weekend (from thur-sun)

...and on the other weekends will be the half price dishes - good luck

Anyone know whats on offer this week?

List is in the first post savinggracet!! :-D

Many thanks for the heads up, I don't always notice when it's in the newspaper or on tv...

We had the chicken breasts with pesto yesterday with ceasar veg and profiteroles. VERY nice! With the Nero d'avola red wine which was also nice.

Today we had the pizza (choice was a bit limited today at 6pm at Bluewater!) with the large bowl of house salad and the pinot grigio wine, followed by the tiramisu. Still a good deal for a tenner!

Hope that they really will do it every other weekend
