+1. There was a deal for the Waitrose meal on here recently, so I tried it for the first time. Wasn't a patch on M&S.
I've never bought these from Marks, I take it they're good?

These deals are on every week as far as I can see. Good but do we really need to post on here?

I'd agree if they were every week but they're not, and that's the problem. Don't think they're consistent and if I don't see them advertised - then I miss them.

So thanks OP and keep posting them when they happen.

No, they're not. Why did you open this thread?
They actually seem to have quite a few different things in the deal this week which is nice. Quite a few mains and desserts that I haven't seen in the deal before and melt in the middle chocolate puddings which haven't been in the deal for a very long time.

I thought it was every two weeks that they tended to do it?

I agree. Checking this site is a handy reminder. These are good deals and depending on your selection they can serve more than two people.
What is the gastropub empire pie when it's at home?
This is the 150th 'Dine In' so if you're wondering why they've put a few different things in the offer.. that's why! Also expect it to sell quicker and be advertised well this time around. If you want it I'd suggest going in tomorrow of thursday as I imagine it'll sell through quickly..

Have leftovers tomorrow or freeze half

Tip: drink all the wine

Many of the Gastopub pie offerings are two individual ones, as are the desserts, and the sides, so you could eat one half & freeze the other. Whether you could drink half a bottle of wine and save the rest is however your own issue! I know I couldn't !

ooh got to disagree with that .... love the Waitrose meal deals, but then we have the M&S ones all the time as well!
The dine in for £10 is on every 2 weeks. it's occasionally changed by hq to 3 weeks. I don't see the need for this deal to be posted al the time imo.... but hey ho

2. They are the ones with the (v) next to them in the description above.
My ex used to really enjoy the coq au vin. She said it really filled her up. Greedy girl!

Yes I find M&S food stuff is better than Waitrose too.
Shame they're closing a lot of their branches tho..Hounslow,Wood Green etc..

I think the (v) must stand for Vegetarian.:D
Having not had one of these how do they work exactly?
Is it just a ready meal I cook at home?
Do you get one choice of each (so both people have the same)?
How big are these portions? A home cooked meal for me will be typically 200g meat.

you choose the food you want from the deal
you take it home cook it and then eat it
Tesco are doing this as well now. Tesco Finest range with branded drinks selection (including 2 bottles of perroni 6 glass bottles of coke, etc). The food selection looks a bit better so going to give it a bash. Good deal tho!

having had both I would say M&S is miles better than the Tesco deal. Plus Tesco keep the red wine in the fridge which is a bit offputting!
Is this still on ?

Complete waste of time. Absolutely nothing left in Stockport. Hate Marks and Spencer's. Will stick with Waitrose.

Be careful with Tesco. On several occasions they lace the display unit with non qualifying produce. You end up paying £20 if you don't check your receipt carefully.
