Eek I've changed it, thanks X)

I have had the Gastropub Beef & Old Peculier Ale Pie when it was in the deal previously a while ago and i can recommend it. Looks like a trip to M&S again. Heat added

lovely job

Couldn't these minus the wine just replace school dinners nationally?

Great for 'date night' if you have 'a date' of course.

champers

Always heat for this. Worth the money.

I'm sure school dinners works out less than £1 pp

This "Dine In" lark is one of the biggest supermarket cons of recent years.

Who prepares it? Who does the dishes?
In what way is it comparable to dining in a restaurant?

All it is is a ready meal deal with wine.

I have news for everyone - you can conjure up similar deals all the time yourself but with fresh ingredients and for a better price.

Rip-off merchant.

I'd like to see you create a dinner of that quality, plus a dessert for under a fiver (that's assuming you'd only spend a fiver on the wine)

Sometimes it is nice to NOT have to do all the prep though, and most of the items cook in their own dishes so it only leaves a couple of plates, cutlery and glasses to wash up - a lot less than if I prepped a similar meal lol

Who prepares it? Eerrmmmm... M and S
Who does the dishes? The dishwasher......

Where does it say it's comparable to dining in a restaurant ? It's called Dine in because that's you do.. you dine in at your own home...d'ooohh!

Ready meal with wine?? If you say so..... but very decent quality food with decent wine for less than £5 per person...!!

Okay...since you've informed us YOU can conjure up a better meal for a better price...here's the challenge.

I'll have :

GastroBeef and Old Peculier Ale Pie
Rosemary and Garlic Potatoes
Tarte au Citron

and a bottle of the Daniels Drift Chenin Blanc to wash it down with, please.

Once you've priced it up, come back and let us know the cost of the ingredients, preparing them, and cooking them.

Unless and until you can PROVE you can make all of this including wine for under a tenner, as you say you can.... probably best if you keep your silly and unfounded comments to yourself.

My memories of school dinners were watery instant mash and mince which was more gravy than mince.Dessert was jam tart with 1mm of jam, served with watery custard. All served from metal containers. The cutlery usually had M.C.C. stamped on them.

Select stores, but where is the list of stores? Or is it just all that offer dine-in ?

Grabs the popcorn and pulls up a chair...

Thanks for the tip off.
These used to appear on the Thursday, but I've been in M&S today and they were there already and I've got mine.
In the past at my local M&S, if you didn't get in before Saturday the best stuff was always gone.

its cheaper in the long run if you just bin your missus off and treat yourself to a couple of pints and a dirty kebab for the same tenner.

less dishes, less cooking and less ball ache.

I doubt you can squeeze an escort fee in £10 total budget and getting any woman in local pub drunk enough to go home with you will easily take another £40, so ball ache is still an issue.

That's the same as my memories, except my cutlery had S.C.C. stamped on it.

HEAT for being the first to post this regular offer and taking the time to copy and paste the menu choices.

My favourite has well.Nice chunky lamb mince as well, unlike some supermarket ones where there's hardly any meat. Not too good for the calories but life's too short to worry bout all that! Goes best with a nice bottle of (M&S) red.

"...FREE WINE" you sure know how to work the HUKD punters OP (_;)

Heat from me

Agree it is the same price every time however it is not on every week so when it is on I give others the 'head up' so they don't miss it. Seeing that quiet a few people have voted it hot means that other members are glad that it was posted. Hey ho have a lovely day :D.

Will be popping in tomorrow to my local M&S
thanks OP

Just got 2 x dine in for £10 for £13.99 instead of £20 as I bought 2 lots of lamb steaks which I didn't realise till I paid kicks in another offer of 2 meats for £7.00 so deducted £6.01 extra off

Any microwave cheese burgers....
