Unless you're the goat.
Only 2 vegetarian mains options and both are not exciting :(. Heat added anyways.

Slightly better than most supermarket curries, mainly because they're a bit more generous with the meat. I wouldn't say the mains were particularly worth £4-£4.50 usually, but this deal seems reasonable value.

In my opinion the best one is the chicken saag masala, so they usually don't have that just to spite me Mix in some cayenne pepper halfway through heating (I do that with all of them anyway because none of them taste spicy to me) and job's a good'un.
Is it just a variety of chicken curries like most supermarkets or do they also have exotic meats such as lamb? A propos of nothing, has anyone ever had a rabbit curry. I think that would be rather good & full of protein. Would taste like chicken used to before they added all the water.

Yes there’s a Lamb rogan josh! Bought that one earlier as well but haven’t tried it yet. I think there’s a prawn curry also.
I don’t think M&S have this on their website yet so will update the post with the available products! 🥘
Out of all the supermarkets microwave ones these are the best for me. I also highly rate their garlic naan breads which are included in this offer.

There's a Lamb dish with the sides, Lamb Balti pastries. Not tried them yet, but the pastry is always lovely on M&S Indian.

So what weight are these mains if they are meant to be for 2 people each portion? Surely not 500g, maybe 750?
here's hoping but I do doubt it!

Erm...400g!! I find half of one of these is enough with rice!

400g. It would be a pretty pitiful meal split between two adults to be honest. They're just playing the same game every company does where the nutrition traffic lights look better if they claim it's two portions.

We have one main each and share the rice...
I can’t see the extra side on sparks?
Gone through all there wines online an not 1 mentions included in meal deal. Why don't they just list them.
Always found M&S curries to be poor quality, the chicken is rubbery & the lamb is very grisly

Oops in the wrong post.
Poor standard, especially the lamb. I can get quite a decent from my local for a tenner instead of this microwave rubbish. Marks really have gone downhill

The poorest of all the big supermarkets for curries, stick to Morrisons!
Chicken chicken chicken chicken. Yawn.
"Serves 2"

They definitely don't.
How boring do you have to be to get 2 chicken curries, and then a side of chicken pakoras.

Although a lot more basic, and more a chicken in sauce thing, I really like the Iceland curries with some cream in. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Chicken Korma are really good. Or were a year ago when I was last in the country and cost £1.50, but I assume they are still the same as they have been around for years.

Might not be available to all!
Heat for the description alone.
It wasn't very nice last time i bought. Very bland. Better making it from scratch.
I don't see a lot of difference in these and the Asda ones. They're tasty and can get a meal for 2 box for £7. I prefer the M&S Thai curries, lovely food
So, Naan bread isn't a side? That's a deal-breaker for me.

It is usually included. They have a two pack of garlic and coriander ones, I usually pick these up with rice.
