Newport, Isle of Wight the sign just said weekend meal deal, so I assume it is until Sunday or Monday, they were filling it all up today, it was seemed most people were buying it, quite a selection, I did notice lamb mousaka, which I was going to have, but changed my mine for Atlantic cod with cherry tomatoes, some sauce and a crunchy top, another fish dish, chicken. the problem is every one wants to get at the same fridge, so it is a bit chaotic, there was strawberry trifle 600gm, apple and blackberry pie, profiteroles, a nice looking Roulade thing, seemed to be more vegetable and potato options than is normally left.

Birkenhead ,I saw it advertised also.

They've been doing this every fornight for ages (except when the weekend falls on a holiday - Mothers day, Easter etc).

Hot from me

It's on in nearly all stores, apart from bp garages and other outlets like that. There's a large selection as I was stocking the shelves with it this morning. Sure its on till next Tuesday.

yeah it's on! just been and got gammon joint, mediterranean veggies, toffee honeycombe traybake and a bottle of cabernet sauvignon for a tenner

this is a really good offer Thanks op

Has the green redeem glitch finished?

That's an early dinner.

Thanks for the info about this deal being every other week. I always try to get a meal in when it's on. Such good value. Will look forward to my fortnightly treats from now on. :-)

It's dine for Two, but can someone suggest about how many items are included in the meal i.e. how many mains, sides and desserts in £10?. Thanks

1 side, 1 main, 1 desert + bottle of wine. Great value for £10.

You pick 1 item from each course. ie 1 hunters chicken 1 potato rosti (2 in pack), 1 millionaires shortbread (2 in pack) and 1 bottle of wine.

We usually get a bag of veg or whatever to add towards the main too.

'Hope this is of some use, if not I can take all the minus dished out' . Anthony712

I like the attitude. you're trying to help, thats what matters.

wahoo, off for my fave chicken tomorrow (push all the pensioners out of the way and find the biggest! - joking obv)

Yes the green card has finished , top dollar now.:(

Parmentier potatoes are nice cooked in actifry, no need for extra fat.

can you get these at M&S's BP garages?

Worth noting that they generally reduce what's left at the end of the offer!

Why is this a deal? It happens all the time.

I can never get this offer in my M&S, walk in after 1pm and everything has gone.

These go like wild fire I find that after 10 am all the best side and desserts are gone, and before any wise guy/gal says go before 10 am I can't due to commitments. Those that know the system are always there at opening time and they never have enough stock to cope, I know because I used to deliver M&S foods.

If you buy 6 of these deals there's a glitch with the wine 25% of so comes to less than £60... I can usually get these meals To stretch feed my little family so this is a bargain!

Also should read "for 2 mice"

Anyone know if you can re use a greenreedem voucher at self service

Just got 2 x meal deals for £10!!
Earlier this week I received an invitation to an account-holders event day plus vouchers valid for a 3 days, one of which was a £5 off a £25 food/flowers spend. Used it and also tried scanning the Greenredeem voucher too (different bar codes). Both discounts were deducted! Best £10 ever spent!

Whatever you do, don't buy the joint of beef!

I thought this deal sounded too good to miss, so bought the beef as the main meal, got it home and cooked it following instructions.

Now I am a little proud that I can cook all manner of deceased moo cows and get compliments from family & friends when I do cook a good joint of beef. But this M&S one? Well I don't know whether to resole my shoes or give NASA a call asking if they need new landing materials for the next Mars explorer.

I could hardly slice the damned thing. When I did manage to cut a bit of it off, it tasted revolting.

Now here's what gets me. The bottle of wine was £6.99 individually (and well worth it - very nice it was). The profiteroles I bought were on sale for £3.50 elsewhere in store (and not particularly pleasing tbh). So there's the tenner gone, meaning that the side course (stuffed mushrooms) and the beef were free.

Now you know why. It was probably about to be chucked out.

No way am I buying in this offer again as I reckon M&S just use it to shift stock and reduce their losses.

Not voted hot or cold.

M&S are usually very helpful so I'd suggest contacting them to explain how disappointing it was, or pop in store to discuss with the manager. It would help have the box/sleeve to hand with code numbers, etc.

Are these on all the time? Popping in later...
