I said clearly 'Discounts shown at checkout.'

Thanks, just ordered mine - can arrange collection from store. Don't forget quidco - 5% (better than nowt)

Why do M&S call their "Wok" a "Saute Soucepan"??? I got the Tefal Wok from Lidl the other day for £16.80. I prefer Woks over ordinary frying pans for almost everything.

PS. £20 isn't really that good a price for a Wok (but prhaps for a Saute pan, LOL)

Good offer. Have some heat
and thanks for the post.

I'd be surprised if any stainless steel pan was 100% non-stick unless you dont mind loads of oil / butter in your food.

and this is NOT a saute pan

Just realise this one isn't even Teflon coated. Better get this one from Argos for £8.99 then

Reviewers state that it is "non-stick" as well. I personally don't believe that any non-Teflon coated pan can be non-stick.

Apart from the two rivets it looks coated with some non stick to me, so will be as non stick as they come.
That's a good reason NOT to buy it in my mind... even the best non-stick can't take the heat needed for effective wok-type cookery for very long.

Cheap carbon steel wok from a Chinese supermarket (or online, there are loads of supplier) is far cheaper, (should be well under 15 quid all in) and within a couple of uses will beat this hands down. I keep a non-stick pan for omelettes and eggs, everything else it is cast iron (griddle and pan) or carbon steel (wok and frying pan)- it keeps the egg pan in good condition for a long time, and I can hammer the other pans with heat and with hard use all I want without any worry.

[Serious cooks note that Makro appears to have a current offer on their full commercial carbon steel pan range at the moment]

again, I totally agree. Teflon is great for all saucepans EXCEPT woks (which this deal is). A stainless steel wok is just wrong!
