In Tesco Sudbury there are Microsoft Office 365 4 Year Subscriptions for 2 devices PLUS Norton Internet Security 1 Year for 3 Devices at just £19!
Not sure if National; I didn't buy it either but I thought it would be worth putting online.

Good luck

Really good deal if you are happy with the whole subscription thing.
The question will be how much you will pay in 4 years when you are locked in.

Not so sure any price is good for 'Norton'

Might be worth checking with your uni if you get Office for free, you do @ Uni of Liverpool for the whole time you're a student.

agree. Also worth mentioning that the uni license is for 5 devices. If you have an old PC you can even download office 2010 with the same license

You're welcome.

I agree - many universities will allow free Office 365 access for students and staff. If you/your child is going to university this time around, check with the university before purchasing!

Most will also have free Antivirus software as well - in fact, at mine they more or less demanded you installed it before using their internet facilities on your personal computer.

I'm not voting hot or cold, but I'd get Avast or AVG for free!

I'd get a Mac not have to worry about web browsing

I have just switched to LibreOffice V5 - it's open source & so far, as good as MS Office, for my needs.
Also, just install the free version of Avast.

Save your monies :-)

haha

Don't forget Office 365 includes 1TB of cloud storage and full use of the touch Office apps (edit features for ipad, Android tablet and windows tablets over 10").

Price up the storage from Google/Dropbox and see what a bargain this is even if you don't use the Office software!

(check your Uni/college/school as they may offer Office 365 free)

And 60 free skype mins a month...

Decent deal so adding Heat, but agree with others DO NOT use the Norton it's terrible. I like Avast too.

Man this is gonna get hot. Oh wait its a tesco in store deal - release the geese instead.

University of Oxford also offers free Office 365 for its entire duration!

Good deal

The subscription version of office 365 for uni is only for two devices. They claim that includes tablets but my iPad subscription doesn't seem to count, only my pc so perhaps they mean windows tablets...

Remember the best result is if you use a weapon with a PowerPoint

PC sales assistant at my Tesco's superstore told me yesterday that they are no longer selling PC software, which is why some stores are selling off remaining stock of Office, Windows etc.

Your Outlook will land you with OneDrive to prison.

none in my local tesco, if anyone has found it, I'd cover postage to have this sent to me, willing to go via the FS/FT route to keep it all above board! ;-)

Don't go anywhere near Norton anyway, plus uni students can usually get office for free.

Hot for the office 365, but I would personally give the norton subscription to someone you really really hate. It may prevent viruses but it is to your system resources what pineapple juice is to a sports engine.

Don't forget that if, on leaving university, you are then employed by a company who use Microsoft Office you can benefit from the "Home Use Program" for only an £8.95 one off payment.

I was speaking about the one that you can get from your uni by logging into portal.office365.com

@Oliver885 - I remember spending a pleasant Easter Sunday in Suffolk and on way back stopped in Sudbury for a cuppa in what I think was a Burger place called Star Burgers?? Was by the main square... is not on Google Maps so assume went ages ago... anyway, that was all!

Is this at their Sudbury, Suffolk store?

HUP is only available if the employer is a MS Volume Licensing customer and is paying for Software Assurance.
How do you get it for £8.95? It was £9.95 last time I checked.
