Its back again this year. Annual half price reduction of a very nice Port. Single bottles in store only or a case via website. Suitable for vegetarians according to website. Suitable for Port lovers according to me!

Not voting because I haven't tried it but £8 for 50cl of ruby port doesn't seem that impressive?

We bought a bottle last week, it's OK but there are cheaper ports that I like more

Suspicious that you pay for a nice bottle and M&S brand...

Gonna vote cold , it's a very small quantity and it's gone before you know it .

Been this price for weeks now and has already been posted here!

I wonder why my search prior to posting didn't find it. I must be doing something wrong, old age probably!

It’s nothing special, overpriced for the rapidly declining number of people who are willing to pay extra for the M&S brand - mainly Middle Eastern tourists these days.

I prefer the port at Aldi’s for £7 - really good at the price and a bigger bottle. (Er might have been Lidl’s...will check)

I've only posted 2 deals and both had already been posted, searched for the both before hand and didn't come up with anything, search on here is not great in my experience

This is a mediocre port. Great if you like M&S branding. Their LBV ports are much less likely to give that "port hangover".

I tried this M&S one last year when they had it at this price. It wasn’t that great. Yea there are way cheaper ports nicer than this. I buy the cockburns a lot and every now and then the 70cl comes down to £8 and the 1ltr comes down to £10. It’s a lot better than this M&S one for sure

Awesome, now I can complain about my gout problem to the neighbours with class

Bought a dozen of these a few Christmases ago - via HUKD... Not worth the money, you are paying for the bottle and the brand, the Port is very weak... I've tried Lidls for about the same price, bigger bottle too, that was much nicer.

I like the Sandymans Founders Reserve, they have this in Costco for £7.95 for a 75cl bottle, so 50% more for 5p cheaper and it tastes better (IMO), also comes in a nice tin so great as a gift

"Annual half price reduction" - meaning they establish a price of £16 to comply with price marking regulations and then claim it's half price when reduced to the real selling price. No disrespect to OP; every disrespect to retailers who create 'fake reductions'.

I don't think this is a good buy at all, but it's 20% so much the same strength as typical Ports.

Link not working?

Stick to Graham’s or Taylor’s late bottled port unless you are mixing it of course then Aldi/Lidl are cheapest at just over £6 a bottle .

Not a big port fan, it’s christmas so will try it out though. Heat added thanks op.
