Annoying! Shows items as in stock, lets you add them to bag, then tells yo at checkout they are out of stock.

Yeah the filters on their site are a joke. Like if you try to filter the sale by a size, it'll show you all the items that exist in that size, rather than just the ones that are in stock. And they're inconsistent across items, for example half the categories have separate options for "XXL" and "2XL" which are applied seemingly at random.

Maybe if they gave people a way to actually find items in their size that were for sale, they'd sell more things? But they probably need to spend millions on market research to learn that rather than reading it on HUKD.
Ah, the M&S sale where you add all the stuff to your basket only to be told it's all out of stock when you check out.

Lol, sort by price, filter by size, is all anyone wants!

Amazon warehouse is very tricky to use too.

They want you to spend time on their pages...

Most of the trousers now seem to be for children; the adult slim fit ones certainly are...

not much left unless your 3 or 4xl
Many thanks for the post. The men's top (featured) was OOS online but I managed to pick up from my local branch, it's very nice indeed

Isn't the M&S website run with Amazon tech?
@smallboi any idea whats happening with the 90%? Will it be happening with all this uncertainty going on?
useless website, everything i added to basket is out of stock in like 1 second, gone back and item still available. repeat the process and same again. i gave up!

Nothing in stock as usual

Guess the only thing they aren't are panic buying is things displaying the slogan 'keep calm and carry on'

I think you'll find that's the whole point of a sale - to get rid of stock. Ideally at as high a price as possible, but droppping to wahatever price it takes to shift.
Heated!

With all the extra time people will have when isolated. Spending a little time finding stuff in an M&S sale is probably more useful than watching the back episodes of Eastenders on iPlayer.
B***er. Just ordered 3 pairs of pjs for hubby. One was a bargain reduced Autograph pair 3 in stock. By the time I had entered payment details and clicked complete they were OOS so then no free delivery. Had to faff about changing things to click and collect instead. 👎
Anyone getting chips and curry from the chippy?

I made a meat free pasta dish with a pesto topped garlic bread.

How about taking the pressure of delivery drivers/workers by only ordering basic supplies! Amazon have stepped up! Who needs clothes when u have no where to go out now!!

Not very British

Depends how you define British - we're a very mixed race indeed, coming from all over Europe and Africa.

I’d want to filter by “In Stock” as most of this stuff is out of stock

VERY annoying!!
Put a load of stuff into my cart and bought a voucher from my works discount code site. Took less than a minute to get code but then all my stuff was out of stock. Now I am stuck with an M&S card balance.
When its started instore?
Any idea about 90% sale dates
Any idea where is going to be 90% off? As 50% was after 70 % after 3 days.. it means next week..
@smallboi any idea please
Likely to close shops soon following suit from h&m and john lewis. Rummaging for bargains in sale along with dozens other ppl really goes against common sense atm. They might move the whole thing online for a while providing that their website can last it.
Any idea about 90% yet
90% must be imminent (online of course now, thanks to the 'bug').
My feeling is they'll want to get rid of the stock quickly now - reckon it could be tomorrow Tuesday 31st (last day of month).

If you're wondering about delivery or pick-up, my wife ordered something last week click&collect and phoned about pick-up and they said 'come into food hall (open) and go to the 'social distancing' information counter), you give your name or rather shout it! (they're about 10 ft from you!) then a member of staff goes into clothing area (closed) and picks it up for you. Puts it on desk, steps back, and you pick it up. Simples! Stay safe!

I was wrong. Still 70%... moment it goes 90% I'll post up (after I've grabbed a few bargains though!)

Surely can't be long now?

3 April
Blimey, what are they waiting for, nothing is selling.
Put it at 90% and it WILL SELL!

5 April
Been in food hall today, (no moaning please, first time I've been out for a week!) clothing still 70% although that area is closed to public but staff still in there.
90% GOT TO BE this coming week. Just GOT TO BE!
Ready steady order online... (I reckon it will be... NO IDEA! But the minute it goes 90% I'll let you know. That's if we are still allowed to go outside. Stay safe!

UPDATE
It states this sale has expired. NOT TRUE! For women etc it may have ended, but not MEN'S.
Plenty of stuff still up to 70% off.
My question is still when is it going to up to 90% off?
How strange that it is only 'Men' in the 70%, nothing else. AND it's hard to find on their site, UNLESS you specify Men's Sale.
