So an extra £10 for a starter and chocolates? Typical Valentine's price increase!

Thought was £15?

Wow a starter and a small box of chocolates 4 an extra tenner!
Won't be wasting my living social voucher on this

Pritty sure it's a repost so not voted

Not such good value as their usual dine in for two, I agree it is a bit of a valentine rip off (unless of course you intend to eat in a restaurant on valentines day and this suddenly becomes good value!).

Yes it is a bit more expensive, but you get things like scallops for starters, and a higher quality main course eg steak - i thinks its a bargain, you couldn't eat out for this price

and you get beef wellington & cava in the normal dine for 2?

According to m&s cava is priced cheaper than some of the wines in previous meal deals. Last time I bought 1 the wine was priced at £8.99!
This deal is just a con, people aren't that stupid anymore

Awesome deal. I could not get a starter, steak, chips, dessert and a bottle of cava for anywhere near £20 in a restaurant. Ok you have to cook it and clear up afterwards but if you buy the meal for the partner maybe you will get away with doing it anyway?

Fabulous Deal from M&S - Dined on ours last Night. Yes it is an extra tenner, but well worth it, The choice and quality is not that of the normal dine for £10. trust me !
YOU WOULD NEVER GET THIS ON A MENU IN A RESTAURANT, FOR £20 ON VALENTINE'S NIGHT.
So Enjoy ................................

Rump steak. I'd expect sirloin for that price

We tried this menu and thought it was excellent value. Above all it was quality stuff . Everything was perfect and simple to prepare

You carnt please everybody,I am happy with it,always have the dine in,good quality food.!!!!

You don't get a starter usually with the Dine in, so it's a much better deal - as you get starter, main and a side dish, plus desserts, chocs and wine. Portions are also good, so can't complain for £20!!

Only collection in store or delivery too ?

I think it's a great deal. We pay that each when eating out WITHOUT wine or chocolates. If you don't like it just don't buy it!

Can't believe what a load of moaning tight wads are commenting on this. What on earth do some people expect for £20!

Something really weird going on here. The last six posters all appear to have signed up just to post on this thread, havent posted on anything else or even looked at anything else. Very odd...

When it includes a bottle of cava, 3 courses & chocs. Pretty good value I say. Try & buy the items separately & you'd pay much more

**** rip off if you ask me! !!!

Does anyone know if the Boston, Lincolnshire store does this deal?

Get a life people..... 20 quid...... That's an amazing deal. You could not even buy the ingredients for the food at that price let alone the wine and choccies. Actually, M & S (bless em) have to make a profit, strikes me as a modest profit too. Profit..... Is not a dirty word!

This is the first time I've bought a meal deal, I think its excellent value for money for two people and I'm not 'stupid enough to buy it' as previous commented, two courses for two people with wine and chocs, nowhere could you buy that all separately for £20. As said above if you don't like it don't buy it and stop moaning about it. Some people are so tight!!

Well why are we all complaining ? M and S are the best for there food you all know it X but we all know it's a treat to buy the dine in on Valentine's Day so l will be treating myself sod the price X its always good xxxxxx
