Seems like a great price for a top spec 17.3" laptop - Maybe not for hardcore gaming but a great all rounder.

Storage: 128GB SSD + 1TB (SATA)

Looks to be priced just reasonably - Geforce 960M is hardly top-spec, but the rest is okay

Similar to a GTX 750 Ti or a RX 460. So actually, a decent 720p GPU for portable gaming. Any laptop enthusiast worth their salt knows that if you want a lot of performance in a laptop form factor, you have to shell out quite a bit more, the OEM loves to rip their customers off in the mobile market (talking about nVidia and Intel).

Unfortunately the graphics card is the most important part of the gaming laptop. Only go for GTX10 series cards now preferably 1060 upwards. A 1050 will barely cope with GTA not maxed out. 1060 will do VR but apparently will work with GTX 970 and above.

960m is so out of date now. There are 1050 and even some 1050ti laptops for this price.

Links? I'd be more than happy if they included an Quad Core HT i7, SSD boot drive and 16GB of RAM at the same price.

And it would be a better deal to post instead of this.

You can't quite get the ssd as well but could buy one seperately but for a medium settings laptop i would say saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7…tml is a better option. In my opinion saving up a bit more and going for cyberpowersystem.co.uk/sys…060 would be great, desktop processor etc.

Hadn't spotted the OP is not much of a gamer though, in which case the MSI might prove better for his needs.

Not too sure if you fancy this OP but I have the 6th Gen MSI GP72 6QF Leopard Pro Laptop on For Sale:

I would love £850 but as this has a newer processor I might have to consider lowering the price. Though I am open to Offers
