Needs to be more closer to £200 rather than £300.

Right now, unfortunately, this is a reasonable price due to the supply constraints... but in the scale of things this is about 130% of what RRP should be... let alone the best deal available online

Sad.

Also the midstream vega is coming too.. It is all a bit of mess sadly, mostly down to greed too

the 480 version of this was £199 earlier this year

lol

When I see deals like this I am so happy that I decided to take the plunge on a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 for £295 from Amazon warehouse (Dec 2016).*Smug face*

You won't get 8GB version anywhere for £200 - £250. Anything less than £300 is lower than normal

amazon are doing 8gb msi 580 gaming card for £259

£225.59 Gigabyte RX 580 8GB @ Amazon warehouse. (Like New; original packaging)

amazon.co.uk/gp/…sed

Though for 1080p gaming I'd also strongly consider the 1060 3GB @ £175.76 ( amazon.co.uk/Gig…R4/ ).

~10% performance improvement isn't worth +£50 IMO, and the difference in vram will be largely inconsequential for games within the performance scope of either card.

Of course if you're not solely interested in gaming, the 580's compute performance blows the 1060 away.

At the moment, I see a 350 quid one on Amazon.

The 580 for 290 quid is awful value.
