2924239.jpgHi Guys, Found this very good deal on ebuyer. It's an x370 board (AM4 Socket) for under £90. This is about the average price for a B350 board which makes this a good deal. This board would go well with a Ryzen 7 1700 for a budget build with plenty of punch.

The top Features are:

-64GB Ram Capacity
-Supports DDR4-3200+(OC) Memory.
-AM4 Socket (Ryzen CPU's)
-Steel Armor PCI-E slots

When a company claims that Ryzen 7 cpus have been discontinued 3 months …When a company claims that Ryzen 7 cpus have been discontinued 3 months after their launch just to get out of a misprice, then a week later restocks them on their site I lose my trust in them.

Yeah I once lost faith in a company for not wanting to sell stuff to me at a loss too!

I have only used ebuyer a few times, but I have never had any problems with them.

Great price!
I've used ebuyer for 15+ years and I've always found them competent... Unlike their couriers.

Fantastic price for an x370 board. Can usually only get B350 boards at this price.

It wasn't the losing money part that was the issue, if they had just said 'oh sorry we mispriced that cpu' I would have been fine with it, it was the fact they removed every ryzen cpu from their website for a week, claiming it had been discontinued, then put them all back up a week later at higher prices, that was the issue I had with them.
Nice price. Heigh Ho!

if they where out of stock they do do this - so do other companies ..
as for pricing, i'd wait till next week and the bank holiday for some cracking prices on x370 and ryzen 1 series cpus
I too have never had a problem with e-buyer - with the many dozens of products I have purchased from them. Although I haven't had a need to return a product to them or replaced under warranty.

The e-mail communication I have had with them re deliveries has always been good with quick responses.

Historically, Ebuyer tend to have good prices and delivery services, but very poor service when things go wrong; I dont buy from them unless I cannot buy anywhere else, or unless the Ebuyer price is at least 20% cheaper than anywhere else.

Things dont go wrong often, so many people recommend them, but on the few occasions I have had to return something that was defective/dead on arrival, the experience has been very poor, long-winded and personally expensive (left me out of pocket on postage*).

The last return was some years ago (I REALLY do only use them as a last resort), so perhaps the returns service has improved since then; I dont know.

* I had to pay for the returns, then send a claim to a PO box in FRANCE for the postage; I got the returns postage, but the cost of the required "Recorded Delivery" claim to France was NOT refunded.
Ordered the B350 version, currently £71.99

In contrast, I had to return a keyboard a couple of years ago, and they provided a prepaid label. The whole process was pretty quick and I recieved a partial refund equating to about 70-80% of the original cost after owning it for a year. Although not quite Amazon levels of customer service, I wouldn't consider the experience a negative one.

That being said, I generally try to avoid them because of how slow their free delivery service is. In my experience, they tend to take at least 3 days to dispatch the item unless you pay for next day shipping.

I am using that motherboard, it's fine, not enough SATA ports for me and initial BIOS didn't OC properly but perfectly functional. Not my best purchase decision but not a big deal, it has weird things like PCI ports but ... you know I'll take it lol. I paid a bit more.

I would get an X370 for kicks and save it for a Ryzen 2 processor, coming pretty soon. Or, you know, for 7nm Ryzen which will support this platform.
I have a MSI B350 Am4 motherboard rn. Since this motherboard is so cheap is there any reason to upgrade to this or nah? I do intend on upgrading my whole pc slowly to the best possible parts. Is there any huge difference in the two motherboards

- SLI capable
- Better power delivery, so when paired with a good cooler, will be able to overvolt higher for absolute max overclock.

For most, the answer is no.

Thanks, it sounds like they have made their returns policy a lot better since my last experience.

I was returning a DVD player that basically started to melt after 30 minutes of use; even though it had only been delivered that day, they insisted it would have to be sent for testing, and that the testing would take SEVEN WEEKS MINIMUM, before I could have a refund or replacement.

This was of course, before the DSR came into law.
Ive bought quite a bit from ebuyer, including (some years ago), 4 drives, one of which was DOA. I rang them, and we agreed they'd ship another while I RMA'ed the failed one. No paperwork, no waiting/testing the DOA one. Couldnt be happier ...
Didn't work with my Ryzen 1600X so beware.
