Great board at a good price.
Just bought this board in a 2700x/16GB ram bundle from them. Pretty much the best B450 you can buy and can handle up-to a 3950x no sweat (one of the only few which can) so room to upgrade your CPU in a year or three.

I've just gone for the b450 mortar max. Has better I/O than this and a second m.2 slot. £85 on amazon.
Best price at the moment for this great board, has been cheaper in the past but since time machines have not been invented yet... Heat added!

That's a mATX though so didn't fancy the small size (too fiddly lol) but was on my list for a while. As for m.2 i have loads of SSDs so i prefer the 6x SATA 6Gb/s in the Tomahawk rather then the 4x SATA 6Gb/s in the Mortar.

The Tomahawk has better VRM cooling and more PCIe slots so it's easy enough to add a NVMe expansion card if required.

Both are great boards though, really depends if you want mATX or ATX

If you want to keep the 6 Sata ports then make sure that you don’t use an NVMe in the tomahawk as you lose 2 of the Sata ports and will be left with 4.

Yes i know so will weigh that up but basically i have loads of SSDs to use (and they are plenty fast enough for me).

No but then you only had 4 to begin with.

What annoys me about both boards is you can't run 2 * NVMe drives at full speed.

I guess that's what the X570 boards are for

Nope, you only have access to 1 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, the other is PCIe 2.0 x4.

Guess it depends on what sabrent you have. Pcie 3 or 4?

And don't forget. When you use an NVMe, you also lose 2 SATA ports. It might not matter to most, but it's a big deal for me.

Mortar is matx and that's an atx board so more expansion slots.
