Bought mine from CCL for £98 with postage, but worth looking out on eBay with the discount codes that often turn up or on Amazon for a warehouse deal

The way eBay are going you'll probably see another 10% voucher this side of black Friday and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do a 15% one before Xmas. They did it last year because I took advantage of the 15% one
This is a great motherboard, I have it.

It also gets much cheaper than this in ebay sales. I got mine for £74 with postage from ebuyer on one of the sales (15 or 20% off I forget which).
Can't go wrong, stick a ryzen 3600 on it.
My previous builds have all been Intel, but I'm seriously impressed with MSI's B450 range for the price. No regrets switching to Ryzen.
I was going to buy this board but people keep talking about the sound issues
Damnit paid £100 last month

Got a link? I'm considering it for my build as I've only heard good things so some negative feedback is interesting to see too.

Intel doesn't represent good value and performance that's probably why. If you want to use faster ram you need a z series board or if you want to overclock you need to buy a k chip and a z board. AMD doesn't really have these restrictions.

Sound is ideal for me, I use some pretty decent headphones too (Sennheiser Momentum) and cannot fault the board. Does just as good a job as any of my other audio devices.

I totally understand that will be paying premium for Intel and it might not be best price / performance. But at least less hassle to look up which ram will be working with specific CPU and all the bios updates to get your CPU working at all. Same as for AMD GPUs need to wait 10 driver updates to be usable
Intel and Nvidia FTW

Not really that difficult, you can buy amd certified RAM if you're that way inclined and the MSI MAX range of boards work out the box with 3000 series CPUs. Although most popular motherboards now probably support 3000 series out the box and ram isn't really that much of an issue.

But if Intel is your bag them I'd recommend waiting for an eBay deal when they knock 10-15% off and bag yourself a deal on Intel that way.
