Thought this looked good with the 256gb SSD in there alongside the 1tb HDD. Nice looking machine as well. As you'd expect at this price point and for a gaming machine, it's a 1920x1080 screen. There's a code for £40 off computing over £399, which you'll need for this. It's 40OFFCE

If you're wondering, it's a TN panel, which is fine at this price point imo. Even if I do love IPS a little too much

Just throwing it out there if you're on the lookout at the moment. It might not be a top of the line GPU, but at this price, it will offer a decent gaming experience overall. As always, you can search for FPS/Setting examples. Just search something like i5-7300HQ GTX 1050 8gb Ram - and you'll be able to get an idea what to expect out of it, in terms for framerates. It's not going to be 100% the same, but still, it should help you out somewhat.

A good laptop, but no IPS is a let down as is the lack of memory. I have a similair MSI, to upgrade the memory requires a guitar plectrum to get the back off. Ludites be aware no VGA
These msi laptops are really nice. I bought the pl62 for £598 before Christmas and fitted my own M.2 drive.

Theyre not too hard to get apart and you don't void the warranty doing so.

The screens on these are better than the IPS screen in my HP laptop.

This would do nicely for anyone wanting management games and some old classic. It would also play new games but you would have to tone down the settings 1080p medium.
Anyone recommend a good 1060 or 1070 laptop?
