It’s okay, be better with a 6gb 1060 rather than a 3gb, for the price I’d expect a 17” screen. Not voting either way
Suggestions for alternatives. I was almost ready to go buy this

same specs, cheaper price, and it's a standard amazon price, therefore cold
still overpriced. I expect it to be £100-£200 less for this spec

Decent CPU and 16gb ram is a plus but the 3gb 1060 lets it down.

How about a Dell Inspiron 7577 from the Dell Outlet? If you are up for playing the Outlet lottery that is. There's a 25% off coupon available ( DOINS25 ) until 30th April. Machines are coming in and out of stock randomly, but earlier I bagged a Certified Refurbished, i7-7700HQ, 256GB M.2 PCIe, 1TB HDD, 16GB ram, 6GB 1060 GTX, 7577, for £752. I think that's a very good price, if it turns up in good order, of course

Looks like a good offer. Just have to wait for stock. Do Dell update stock at a a particular time each day or is it completely random?

I was also looking at the Gigabyte SabrePro 15

Stock levels seems to be completely random, and I expect good spec models get snapped up very quickly. The other day they had several i5 and i7 1060 GTX machines, but no coupon offers. Then yesterday morning I saw they had the 25% off coupon, but only one 1050 GTX 7577. So I made a bookmark for the spec I wanted and refreshed occasionally. I saw nothing all day, then one popped up in the evening.

I just hope it turns out to be OK. The 7577 screen is apparently quite poor, though some people say that the criticism is exaggerated, and people's experiences of the Outlet are mixed. I've had a few machines over the years, and only one disappointing let down, which was quickly resolved, so I wait in anticipation.
