Tbh I haven't had a Msi laptop before but from reviews I have read online about this laptop and other Msi laptops they seem really good, I suggest you look into them yourself if you are unsure. Lots of tech reviews and YouTube reviews from people who have bought/used them before.
Thanks and nice first deal!
I agree, I poseted the 1060 one, but bought this one! Been holding out for ages... can finally start playing all the humblebundle games I've hoarded over the years haha
Also it's an IPS screen and has a desktop grade gpu
That never works. You’ll wake up in a sweat from nightmare about this deal. Which is why I had no choice.(cheeky)
Raider is not a 17.3" Laptop and also no Mixed Reality Headset VR1000 with it....
And now I'm seeing this laptop plus vr I don't know what to do? Should I get the MSI one instead? Help me decide guys! Heat given btw.
Offer says til 24th December but this GE72MVR looks like it's on black friday, which means once it sells out it's gone (could be Monday or after). it has 2 years warranty
that Raider has a smaller SSD, the keys are individually backlit on it (can choose colour of each one), and it has a different design and bigger speaker chamber, plus a 120hz screen
no, in the terms and conditions it says "if you return a Qualifying Item or a Promotional Item, Amazon reserves the right to charge you (using the payment method you used for the original order and without further notice) for either the discount or the Promotional Item you received as part of the offer." sorry
I am hoping to sell this on ebay for about £200, which will get the price down to 1150, which is not bad at all.
My plan too. I already have a Rift so the HP headset will be going straight onto ebay. I was going to wait until Cyber Monday, but this deal was just too good to miss. This laptop is a beast!
It is still showing up for £1350.92 for me. Do you have anything else in your basket? Also make sure that both items are being delivered at the same speed of delivery eg. Both free delivery or both standard delivery as mentions this in the terms and conditions of the offer.
It’s definitely NOT IPS. Look at the specs on MSI website, the 120Hz panel is not IPS. Most likely TN
hmm are you sure cause the amazon qna section says its IPS.
I hope I’m proven wrong but the MSI website doesn’t list it as IPS. A few reviews say TN for the 120Hz panel as well.
I agree it seems ambiguous
TN panel:
gentechpc.com/Pro…001
The other two panel options are IPS-level, which likewise is an ambiguous term also
Good find. I guess the trade off is the 120Hz.
yes. sorry. I saw this as 2 items and went to edit to see why and there was a price of 1416. But when you go to the last screen after entering card details it is 1350
