No limit on numbers per customer either. Good for anyone building more mining rigs.
For anyone buying this or already has a 1060, DO NOT install the latest Nvidia video driver update. It is a faulty update and will have a negative impact on your GPU and start causing weird symptoms. I found this out the hard way and had to revert back to the previous video driver after my gpu lost control of it's temperature based fan system and just ramped up 100% fan speed at all times. The issue is mentioned here:

kitguru.net/com…rs/

For now, install the previous video driver update which you can download manually here:
nvidia.co.uk/dow…-uk

For anyone who already has installed the faulty driver, just do the same as above and make sure you do a 'clean install' which should remove all traces of the faulty one. My gpu is working fine now after doing this.

Good value? Check.

What on earth is going on here? Great find.
I have this one i really like it but be aware you cant set the fan speed below a certain rate regardless of utilisation

Oh you....
Heat from me as I was looking at 1060s a couple of months ago and best price was £312 so glad I held off.
Fire added.
Nice, the slow decline of bitcoin is great for GPU prices!....till the next line of cards exceeds the new ASICS for performance / efficiency

Everything!! GPU prices are so high due to people using them to mine crypto.....crypto has declined to the point where GPU demand has dropped....as it’s not so profitable now......supply has finally outstripped demand so prices can come down...

People don't mine bitcoin with their graphics cards, it's more Ethereum or ZCash
If you have to buy now then buy but hang on for further price drops if you can.
Good deal.

But BTC value has picked up AND difficulty decreased...I'm making more mining on my GTX 1070 now than I have been in a long time.

Absolutely, alt-coin value tracks bitcoin fluctuations more or less.

Even with the "cheap" card above, it's still going to take a year to pay back at current prices - unless you've got a cheap source of electricity. Not the 6 months people thought they were getting at the crypto peak after xmas.

Add in the risk of nvidia releasing faster, more power efficient cards in the near future, possible ASIC miners turning up, or ETH switching to Proof of Stake - many wouldn't consider it worth the risk.

That said if you've already got rigs mining, no reason to turn them off either...

Just saying if you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn't have said Bitcoin.

If you dig any more you'll be joining the miners.
It’s crazy how GPUs are just only now at RRP, 2 years after they’ve been released.

Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB [Tahiti]... so pretty old. I expect a pretty good performance bump.

Really?
Bought this off novatech last year for 225 quid, still voted hot as its a good price in todays gpu market.

All you need now is 2 1000W PSU, 4GB DDR4 RAM, Gigabyte Fintech 250 12 PCIe motherboard, some storage and a cheap intel processor.
I've just ordered the Gigabyte 1060 G1 yesterday for 299. Is it worth sending back and swapping for this or keeping?
£33 below the RRP on NVIDIA's site!
Hey guys, This is the exact GPU i was planning to buy in two weeks when i do my build. Do you think i should buy now or wait for two weeks as prices could get even lower? Talking £30 difference to nearest 1060 of this type ;0
Wow, a really good price, do I hold off or wait....I think I am going to take the plunge and order this. In the end, prices will come down eventually but it depends on how long you can wait. I literally fried my motherboard so now it's the time to upgrade after using intel for 6 year. Switching to Ryzen 2 and with this card...powermachine.

Prices will drop, but it might not be a huge difference, maybe £20, £30...but frankly after the crappy prices we had for GPU, I am going to buy this. I don't want to take the risk and have to wait weeks or months. It depends on you....can you afford to wait, then wait...if not, then buy it. I would wait myself but I am upgrading now so my GPU is 7 years old, it's time for a upgrade.
Has anyone actually bought this? I am really close but not sure if there is an issue with the listing or a rare breed of card: the specs say it has 1152 cuda cores but the 6GB should have 1280 and the cut down 3GB has 1152'

Is the Cuda core spec listed incorrectly or is it the 3GB card? the Manf code is for the 6GB card so i think its just that
I'm not sure prices will drop as many are predicting as i'm expecting the new cards when they are released to be prohibitively expensive and low in supply to keep prices high so those who had been holding off will revert back to these models driving up demand for them. I'm going to take the plunge now as this is the OC model and £35 less than the standard blower from Nvidia.

Its the 1060 6gb definately pal - (source this very pc)
Should these be a sealed box? Mine has turned up on next day delivery even though I chose free 4-5 day delivery however there is no seal or celaphane on the box. Thinking it might be a customer return?!

Really, I am still on the fence, came so close to buying this few days ago but stopped at the last minute. this had 50+ stock, but now, down to the last 9. I need to make a decision, do I wait or gamble on this. but reading your comment, having second thoughts.

Well i've had a search and found this:

forum-en.msi.com/ind…1.0

Looks like MSI don't seal a lot of their cards so i'm off to check the anti static bag as i've not opened it yet. As for price I think £245 for an OC version is a very good deal which is why I went for it. I only have a FHD monitor and play Forza 7 and Elite Dangerous so the 1060 is all I need. I was tempted with the 1070TI on here this week but it would be overkill and I refuse to pay over £400 for a graphics card.
