Anyone else got this card?
I have been watching for the price to drop on any 1070's and was wondering whether to pull the trigger now.

Tempted, but waiting for the sub 300 still I think..

Hot though!

I got one when Ebuyer had them for around £295. I've got no complaints so far. It runs cool and quiet but still overclocks nicely even though it only has one 8 pin power connector.

Decent review here

Note that a slight downside is that the max power target is quite low at 108%. That hasn't really affected me so far.

good card although i get coil whine at full utilisation. it's good compared to other 1070s and their current price.

but as someone who got it at £295 i would not buy it until it falls under £300. 1070s are not good price/performance above that price.

A fantastic card which I have no complaints about at all. I got it for £295 and I suspect it will sub £300 again. This is a good current price for a 1070 so heat where it's due

Also from the £295 club, make sure you have a wide case to fit this monster in. My PSU connector is doing a tight right angle against the side of my case (Fractal R4). Great card though, and heat for this price.

£390 club still a fantastic card. Tall, but fits in my Carbide 400Q which is a fairly compact mid-tower case. Also the card doesn't have a backplate.

good price, but i don't trust ebuyer there customer services are rubbish

Got an ASUS OC version for £395 few weeks ago. Lately there have been few sub £350 deals which is making me wonder if Nvidia sees VEGA as serious competition, which makes me wonder if I should just return mine and buy a cheaper one down the road.

I purchased one when it was £300 recently, compared to the GPU it replaced (EVGA GTX980) I am very impressed. Much better performance and great for gaming....

Have to disagree with Masterdan113, I had a 970 which had coil whine with Ebuyer. still in warranty and they refunded me money. I purchased a 1070 instead as they didn't have stock of my old 970

oos

I'm looking now says in stock

showing in stock for me
"In Stock Order within 9 hours for delivery on Wednesday, 1st February"

Heat and ordered !!

I'd suggest to anyone that has waited this long just to hold out that bit longer. Vega is only a few months away. Which will give these cards a massive price drop!

great card
