Hi,
Just bought myself this card.
Good price compared to other suppliers.
In stock from MAY 5th.
From my understanding this card is qualify for 1 free game ('For Honor' or 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands') & also MSI £43 additional cashback:
msi-promotions.com/gb/…ome
msi-promotions.com/gb/…ing
When you click "Where to buy" amazon.co.uk is listed, so looks good. I send email to MSI with question about cashback so let you know when hear back.
£337 with free game is decant price I believe...

Great price for a hybrid
Game can be probably sold for 20-25£ acording to ebay, so final price would be about 320£... Strugle to find better priced any gtx 1070...
Personally if I was in the market for a new GPU I'd hold off until next month when AMD's Vega GPU's get released which has been a long time coming as AMD have really dropped the ball on letting Nvidia monopolise the high end GPU market in the last year and the Vega architecture is supposedly very very good so will give the 1070/1080's a good run for their money

Heat though because it's a decent deal, same price at overclockers as well if you prefer them over Amazon

...or wait until Navi and Volta...or wait until........

next month confirmed is it for Vega, source please.
Overclockers are not on cashback list on MSI web... Also don't think Vega will cost close to 300... probably double that. It will compete with 1080ti and next gen of Nvidia cards. Even 4gb version I bet will cost 450+....

Well he's wrong by saying confirmed next month but AMD said latest June like two days ago

It's the end of April surely you're not all so pedantic to say June is 2 months away ?

you do know next month is May and Q2/H1 ends in June?
I was tempted by this but I think it uses GDDR5 instead of GDDR5x which has been rumoured to be rolled out soon on on the lower tiers. Also with AMD releasing a GPU I'm waiting to see how it shakes up the market 1st

Pretty sure that has and is only happening for the 1060 and1080

I've heard the same but I doubt they will keep the 1070 on gddr5 when gddr5x runs at a higher speed and lower voltage.
Arnt gtx1080 already using GDDR5X what makes them better then 1070? They will quicker relase 20xx series then upgarde old models...

MSI confirm to me today that buying from ANY retiler of qualified product listed on msi cashback site would be eligible for cashback, not just this retailers listed on their site. Unfortunately it must be UK retailer if you live in UK...
