secure.scan.co.uk/asp…278

Scan regularly list this card in the Today Only section at £113.99 - perhaps once a fortnight, so I won't be updating this listing again. Furthermore, I have found that if you save the "BUY" link next to the reduced price, it can be used to obtain that price (at least in your Basket, haven't actually tried to checkout) for days after the item has been delisted from Today Only. This may or may not apply to other Today Only listings, I haven't tried any others.

Not seem the full-fat GTX 460 1GB quite this cheap before, and it's an OC model. 725/1450/3600. 336 cores.

I understand it's worth paying for the 1GB version over the 768MB card - not only is there more video RAM, but the wider memory bus (256 bit vs. 192) means more memory bandwidth as well.

very nice price!

A great card for peanuts. I have the hawk version of this card and plays all games, even Metro 2033, to high levels. If you're feeling flush buy two then blow away cards costing £400

Grrr, two days after I paid £136 for an EVGA GTX 460 OC'd card. Just my luck!

About a week ago I bought the EVGA GTX460 SSC Super SuperClock NVIDIA Graphics Card - 1GB for £140 iirc. Would've preferred this deal!

Two of these would rock. Unfortunately i already have GTX 480 - but I love it.

Since this graphic card is overclock, the power usage will be higher? Or will it use the same watts?

Edit:
never mind, from spec at scan it say it uses 160w.
Err... the OC stand for overclock right?
Then what is EX OC?

Any Chance of a link

An excellent price with free delivery and Today Only discount. Couldn't resist so just ordered one for using with Adobe Premier CS5 as per this link

What's the best PC game around at the moment? I must admit I haven't played a PC game for a few years.

tbh I'm not much of a gamer - I haven't used my xbox since 2009. I switched it on last week to update to the new dashboard which is the first time it's been switched on since summer!

HOT, just 1 question I have a GTX 460 756Mb (or something) will I be able to use this deal on a SLI bridge with my one.??

whats the difference between this and the cyclone gtx 460

I'm in the middle of buying my parts, should I just buy this one and save money or spend a bit extra for a better one.

Anyone help please

I am on a budget of £140 for GPU

Hot! I'd buy two of these if my board could take SLI to replace my 5770's.

the cooler looks a bit crap

Shonk

the cooler looks a bit crap

After reading some review on the internet, people are saying that it still does it job and it is way quieter than the other graphic cards. But it is inside the case anyway, so as long as it works I don't think it is a big deal.

I'm really tempted on this . was planning an upgrade on graphics card anyway.
I'm a bit worried about some reviews of the MSI make though , some people complaining about them in general. Anyone with experience with this make or even this card?

its a gtx 460 either way it will be very good. If it warms up just add a cooler.

Coolers matter, the fact that it's in the case doesn't take that away (in fact it partially makes it more important), heat/noise are the factors here, if it doesn't matter to you then that's fair enough though.

I know it matters, but what I meant was that if this little cooler can handle the heat without making much noises or overheating the graphic card, I am fine with it.

Today Only price of £113.99 has now expired, so price now back up to £119.99

Glad I ordered it yesterday!
